Job Title: Sr. Desktop Support

Location: Commack, NY (Long Island)

Duration: 6 months

PRIMARY DUTUES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position will be supporting technology initiatives by providing
technical expertise in all areas of desktop and mobile hardware, software,
and firmware support.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Have a strong IT background and will be expected to have a
technical working knowledge of PC Desktop and mobile operating systems.

• An acute understanding of application software such as
Microsoft Enterprise Suite to include SharePoint, MS Exchange, and Active
Directory.

• Should also have a working knowledge of wired and wireless
network connectivity and its application to business, and video
conferencing technology.

• Experience maintaining Microsoft Windows operating systems,
Microsoft mobile operating systems, iPads and blackberry operating system
and able to migrate between systems.

• Working knowledge of Active Directory policies and Microsoft
System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

• Configures, maintains, deploys and installs desktops, mobile
devices, printers and software in an Active Directory environment.

• Utilizing all features of Microsoft System Center
Configuration Manager in the management of enterprise workstations

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a SQL Server Database Manager who will be responsible
for creating and delivering custom database queries and reports using SQL
Server Reporting Services (SSRS) as well as supporting and maintaining the
organization's MS SQL Server databases running on top of Windows and Linux
on both physical and virtual hardware.

This is a fulltime employee position in Shelton, CT

Skills and Qualifications:

* Relevant college (4 year) degree or equivalent work experience
required.

* 3+ years of Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS administration required.

* Solid understanding of database layout, creating custom queries and
reports using SSRS

* Experience supporting highly available, redundant applications with
understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity methodologies as
related to databases.

* Basic understanding of network topologies and protocols required.

* Prior systems administration, application integration and support
experience desired

* Cognos, MySQL and other database platform experience are pluses

* Understanding of security protocols and business guidelines for
handling confidential data.

* Understanding of technical and industry compliance and best practice
standards, such as HIPAA, PCI and ITIL a plus.

* Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Our client is seeking an IT Coordinator who will work closely with the
Director of Infrastructure and team members to support and assist in the
day-to-day technology operations and clerical functions, i.e., oversee
procurement and expense process, enter and track technology purchase orders,
invoices and payments in company ERP systems, as well as proper
classification, routing and reporting of help desk tickets/incidents.

Skills and Qualifications:
