On October 4th, 75 wonderful people came together to form a new community, at our first Transitioning to Green Forum. Margaret Mead's spirit was certainly among us. "A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

A few testimonials from the 1st Forum participants:

"Yesterday's Transitioning to Green Forum was a wonderful day full of exciting ideas and opportunities. The highlight of the day was the sector and business function roundtables. The time spent speaking with the SME helped me understand how my skills can be used to assist in the building of the new green economy....To summarize, a life changing day." LR

"Thank you for encouraging me to participate in the TTG Forum on Sunday. Although I am in the early stages of my "transitioning to green career" process it was a very valuable day. I left with a wealth of knowledge that I will use to explore both industries and roles where I can add the most value in the green economy. The Forum inspired me and I'm sure others to think "bigger" and more creatively about the world of possibilities sustainable enterprise provides. It was also a pleasure meeting many interesting and competent professionals, whom I will network with in the future." NM

I thought you might enjoy this. Take
time to read and digest.

>>>>
>>>>>>>> Basically, the movement questions the sense of "hurry" and

>>>>
>>>>>>>> This no-rush attitude doesn't represent doing less or having lower
>>>> productivity. It means working and doing things with greater quality,
>>>> productivity, perfection, with attention to detail and less stress. It

>>>>
>>>>>>>> It stands for a less coercive work environment, happier, lighter and
>>>> more productive where people enjoy doing what they know best how to do.
>>>> It's time to stop and think on how companies need to develop serious
>>>> quality with no-rush that will increase productivity and the quality of
>>>> products and services, without losing the essence of spirit.
>>>>
>>>>>>>> In the movie Scent of a Woman,
>>>> there's a scene where Al Pacino asks a girl to dance and she replies,
>>>> "I can't, my boyfriend will be here any minute now". To which
>>>> Al responds, "A life is
>>>> lived in an instant". Then they dance to a tango.
>>>>
>>>>>>>> Many of us live our lives running behind time, but we only reach it
>>>> when we die of a heart attack or in a car accident rushing to be on
>>>> time. Others are so anxious of living the future that they forget to
>>>> live the present, which is the only time that truly exists. We all have
>>>> equal time throughout the world. No one has more or less. The difference
