This position is responsible for the design, installation, and support of Websphere on the z/OS Operating System mainframe platform. This individual will also design, install, and support Websphere Process Server (WPS), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and HTTP Web Server on the z/OS platform. Secondary to Websphere, this individual will support z/OS itself, including all related third party software products. This position requires participation in software upgrades, mainframe infrastructure projects, interfacing with other mainframe disciplines, and providing general day to day support of the environment. Strong customer focus and communication skills are also rquired.
Strong knowledge of Websphere is a must and knowledge of Unix (and Unix Systems Services on z/OS), Java, XML, and Process Server is a huge plus.

I have a client located in New York City who is looking for a candidate with the following skills:
- Solid .Net Developer
- Strong Compliance knowledge
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.
- Strong understanding of trade life cycles.
- Strong logical and analytical skills.
- Strong hands on experience developing in C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net and T-SQL.
- T-SQL development of stored procedures, triggers and functions.
- Understanding of XML, SQL, Web Services, FTP, SMTP.
- Experience with Enterprise scheduler packages.
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time.
- Financial Security requirements including the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role.
