ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The project manager responsibilities include the following:
§  Manage project scope and timeline through formal change management processes
§  Manage the implementation and consistent delivery of projects to agreed upon timelines, budgets and expectations of quality
§  Create and manage project budget vs. actual expenditures
§  Manage and supervise project team resources
§  Create and manage work breakdown structures and scheduled project plan.
§  Communicate to stakeholders
§  Ensure compliance with required controls
The successful candidate must possess the following skills and background:
§  Degree from an accredited college or university
§  Five years experience leading projects
§  Experience leading projects with significantly complex integration points
§  Experience working in a financial services area
§  A background including change management and/or transformational change management
§  Effective communicator
§  Experience working with different groups and communicating changes across functional teams using excellent communications techniques
§  Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with both technical and non-technical parties
 
Desirable background and experience includes PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt or post-graduate degree.

Position Description:

The Director, Account Receivables Services will manage the client relationship as well as overseeing and directing team efforts in support of driving the hospital billing, collections, cash acceleration, and denial management. She/he will work with accounts receivable team including internal staff to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, develop and implement processes and procedures to create efficiencies around the hospitals billing and collections functions. The Director will look for trends in increased AR days, decreased cash collections, and various other financial measures to determine process inefficiencies and present corrective action plans to revenue cycle team.

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

Minimum of seven years of large hospital patient accounts management experience, in a Manager or Director capacity, with hands-on experience and oversight for the billing, cash application, customer service and collection and registration areas, including the ability to represent the revenue cycle at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record of success in a Hospital Revenue Cycle environment.
Bachelors degree from an accredited 4 year university
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong financial acumen; ability to develop budgets, forecast revenue, develop early warning signs and adapt the organization to achieve financial targets.
Superior analytic and problem solving skills with an understanding of various clinical and financial operational processes within the healthcare industry.
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and influence decisions by motivating others to achieve excellence in both the quality of work and their approach to team work
Ability to develop and manage relationships with team members and clients
Proven record of competencies in the following areas: creativity and innovation, customer focus, team oriented, pro-activity, personal communication, impact and influence.
