Company is a leading global rating agency dedicated to providing value beyond the rating through independent and prospective credit opinions, research and data.

The Company technology team manages a broad portfolio of applications to support our business. There are many ongoing projects and a constant demand for new information technology initiatives. We are seeking to hire a Program Management Office Lead to manage our pipeline of new and existing IT projects. The PMO Lead will work closely with IT project managers as well as business project managers responsible for the specific projects. The PMO lead will plan, schedule and manage portfolio and project specific steering committees. The PMO lead will report directly to the CTO and develop standards for tracking and communicating project progress to IT and the business.

The goals of the PMO Lead are:
• Help manage the process of prioritizing new projects and reviewing business cases
• Ensure that projects are well executed and follow best practices around project management and Company development methodology
• Coordinate and track the allocation of resources
• Track the progress of projects and highlight potential issues (timing, scope, budget, etc)
• Facilitate communications across IT, internal business clients and Company senior management team

Required Skills:
• 8-10+ years experience in application development and/or business analysis for IT projects
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Knowledge and experience with the system development lifecycle and one or more development methodologies
• Understanding/experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle) and web technologies (e.g. Java, JBOSS)
• Very strong presentation and communication skills
• Leadership
• At least a Bachelor's degree

Beneficial Skills:
• Experience in the Financial Services industry
• Experience with product development; web-based applications a plus
• Hands-on experience with the Agile methodology
