Brief history of EMCC:
In 2001 Joe Tucci recognized the need for a consulting division, signed a
5 year contract with Accenture to utilize their consultants on site at
EMC's clients providing consultative services around infrastructure. At
the end of the contract in 2006 a number of Accenture consultants migrated
to EMCC as FTE's. A number of those people are current leaders within the
organization. In addition to the Accenture Employee's joining EMCC, a
handful of acquisitions were made to build out the different divisions
within the organization.
EMCC's business model:
Industry Verticals- If you are hired into a vertical, you have strong
expertise within that industry; you will focus on engagements in that
vertical
