QA Test Engineer:

Looking for a technical QA / Test Engineer for Latin America Quality Assurance team

Candidate will working closely with developers, liaising constantly with
Business Analysts and local operation team to scope projects and agree
the technical parameters for . The procedures cover functional,
integration, regression, performance, stress and stability requirements
to ensure releases are robust and stable which is especially important
in the emerging market trading systems.

Candidate role in the team will be developing, automating and executing
test procedures for the Fidessa Trading Systems / Enhancements and
documenting functional and technical requirements. Drawing on your
highly technical skill set you'll assist in investigating bugs arising
from and provide in-depth production bug analysis down to code level
where possible.

Responsibilities of the role:

· Developing, Automating and Executing test procedures for Latin America trading systems.

· Performing functional, regression, integration, performance, stress and stability tests.

· Developing, maintaining and enhancing test procedures.

· Automation of test procedures / Developing Testing tools.

· Liaising closely with local and global development and operation teams.

· Targeted bug reporting, tracking and bug analysis.

Requirements of the role:

· 3-5 years experience as a Technical QA / Test Engineer.

· Strong technical focus on trading system (Fidessa experience would be plus)

· Understanding of Trading

· Strong experience designing, automating and implementing software test procedures.

· Strong knowledge of UNIX / Linux

· Strong understanding of FIX

· Experience of XML

· Knowledge of databases (Sybase)

· Experience with test case management tools and building automated test scripts e.g. QTP, Quality Center.

· Experience with Object Oriented development (Java/C++) highly desirable.

· Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills.

· Tertiary qualifications in computer science, engineering (computer or
software). Other degree qualifications will be considered if supported
by strong IT components. Strong academic results.

· Multi-Lingual would be a plus (Spanish & Portuguese)

Experience in dealing with exchange connectivity and trading platforms would be plus

MUST HAVES:

Must have experience working with Trading Systems - understand trading

Basic knowledge of QA Tools
