JOB TITLE: SR. DIRECTOR OF IT OPERATIONS (130-150k) Description: Are you a hands-on, high energy, Technology Director? Who thrives on environment of change? Our client, a leading provider of independent research is seeking a highly technical Director of IT Operations. Responsibilities: · Acts as subject expert and point of escalation for issues involving all of IT · Responsible for the creation and enforcement of policies, procedures, and standards · Build and optimize a Disaster Recovery solution to match the production roadmap · Ensure mission critical systems operate as intended continuously · Hands on management of the following IT departments and disciplines o Help Desk o Infrastructure o Enterprise Architecture o Hardware o Software o Networking o Production o Disaster Recovery o Cloud o Technical Customer Support · Manage vendor relationships and contracts · Strong knowledge of conversions and moving from legacy technology to cutting edge · Cross functional workflow and communication within the Technology Department · Department documentation · SOX compliance · PCI Compliance · Security on all IT systems Qualifications: · Masters Degree in Computer Science or related discipline · 12+ years in technology, 6+ years in technology and systems management · Experienced leader handling competing priorities, organizing and managing work efforts · Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.
