We are building a web application that uses J2EE/REST services on the back end and html/jQuery/JSON on the front end. A current prototype of the web application was built using JSP/jQuery/JSON and J2EE/Spring, and we need to migrate to the new technologies mentioned. The application will be hosted on Glassfish, running on Ubuntu.

The job consists of creating REST services for the new application, and integrating with the web layer via JSON/Ajax calls. In addition, there is a need to create EJBs that interact with other 3rd party services.

Requirements:

* Minimum two years experience with J2EE development using REST, EJB. Ideally, candidate should also be familiar with Spring.
* Minimum two years Experience with Glassfish.
* Experience using jQuery and JSON is helpful but not required.
* Experience with Ubuntu/Linux
* Deployments are done on Amazon/EC2, and familiarity with Amazon EC2 API Tools is also helpful, but not required.

Time Commitment:
This is a full time position in Norwalk CT, starting immediately, lasting 6 to 8 weeks. We want the candidate to be readily available to work with our team in the office. Telecommuting can still be arranged.

The position includes an opportunity to transition to full-time employment.
