Contract Administrator/Paralegal – New York, NY
Searching for a Contract Administrator in New York City who will assist in the preparation, review and administration of contractual proposals relating to construction projects.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare bids and negotiate specifications for materials, equipment, manpower, or other construction services
· Secure all necessary approvals and ensure that standard company procedures are followed
· Review all project contract documentation to identify project risk and cost concerns
· Mitigate project risk/cost through implementation of contract amendments, clarifications and exceptions
· Execute contracts through procurement of required company signatures
· Evaluate performance/payment bond requests and certificates of insurance (provided by third party) for projects
· Manage other required project documentation in conjunction with internal office resources and corporate legal department
· Participate in proposal activities as assigned
· Retain and update original project contract documentation
Qualifications
· Paralegal certificate
· 1-2+ years of experience in contract administration
· Effective writing skills and understanding of legal compliance
· Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction field is a plus

*Position Summary:*
This role will work with account teams, interaction designers, and graphic
designers to create interactive solutions for clients. They will build,
test, debug, troubleshoot programs and scripts for various functions, and
modify existing code to add new features.
*Responsibilities include:*
• Architect the application platform, including the backend, messaging, and
UI layers
• Design and develop rapid prototyping across different architectural
layers, i.e. database, application server, workflow, messaging and event
management, and user interface
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to development teams
• Interact with subject matter experts to understand the business
requirement and design the application accordingly
• Participate in preparing requirements and specification
*Experience required: *
• Minimum 7+ years of comprehensive experience in web / enterprise
application development in Microsoft Windows platform and related
technologies
• In-depth experience with Java, Hibernate and Spring
• Strong Oracle exp
• Solid understanding of OOP, relational databases, and SQL for
implementing database-driven, web-based applications
• Understanding of design and coding on all tiers of web applications and
services
