Summary/Responsibilities:
Underwriting and processing loan and portfolio purchase opportunities
Ability to perform cash flow modeling and data manipulation Perform asset
oversight, review monthly remittance information, update tracking
spreadsheets Coordinate due diligence directly and through vendors Organize
loan proposal packages for review by Credit Committee Coordinate
documentation of transactions to be closed. Interface with document
custodian Assist credit committee with research and writing of company
investment memorandum Assist with some administration duties; all
professionals in office answer phones
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a financial services firm
BA in business, mathematics, finance, economics or similar studies Strong
modeling skills General familiarity with the lending industry Strong
analytic, writing and speaking skills Capacity to interact effectively with
senior managers, both inside and outside the company Computer proficiency in
Excel, Word and PowerPoint
