Summary/Responsibilities:
Hedge fund seeks a SAS Programmer with the following skill set:
Strong conceptual understanding of finance and econometrics Strong
analytical and quantitative skills Ability to perform quality checks on raw
data, make necessary modifications and create SAS datasets Expert level
programming skills of SAS to do analysis on data, identify trends and
patterns and develop models
Requirements:
Capability of developing SAS macro applications Experience of SAS
programming using SAS/BASE, SAS/MACRO, SAS/SQL, SAS/STAT Ability to
communicate results and methodology with the team Knowledge of VBA is a plus
Prior experience with Capital IQ or Bloomberg would be a plus
