Responsibilities of VP of Architecture: 
Engage and challenge requirements while designing solutions based on deep technical knowledge of scalable web and database architectures. 
Lead an agile team while implementing engineering best-practices. 
Set high-level design objectives. 
Review and critique software designs proposed by senior developers. 
Write technical documentation and present architecture to others. 
Participating in the implementation of critical code pieces. 

Requirements for VP of Architecture: 
EXPERIENCE WITH PRODUCT ARCHITECTURE NOT SOMEONE FROM ONE OF THE LARGE BANKS OR INVESTMENT FIRMS 
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent, followed by 7 or more years of professional software development experience. 
Extremely strong CS fundamentals and analytical abilities. 
Experience designing and building complex customer-facing applications. 
Taste for simplicity and elegance in technical design. 
Expertise in several programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python as well as Object Oriented Design. 
Experience leading small teams, establishing development practices, and mentoring individuals. 
5+ years of experience with server-side technologies and major application servers. 
Strong SQL and data modeling skills, as well as real-world experience with commercial RDMBS. 
Android full stack expertise as a plus. 
Understating of Service Oriented Architectures and RESTful services, and Linux/Unix background.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Experienced IBM CICS/TS Systems Programmer familiar with z/OS and DB2 environment comprised of 30+ CICS Regions. Must be familiar with Installation, Customization and general system level support for CICS/TS. Provide system level problem isolation utilizing IPCS Dump Analysis and CICS OMEGAMON diagnostic tools. Knowledge of CICS/Web Services with emphasis on CICS/SOAP/XML a plus. After hours on-call support and participation in Disaster Recovery sessions required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree.

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of professional experience generating and maintaining system software.

SUBSTITUTION: An Associate's Degree in Computer Science may be substituted for the required education and one (1) year of experience. Three (3) years of post-secondary education in Computer Science may be substituted for the required education and experience. A Bachelor's Degree in any field may be substituted for the required education and one (1) year of experience. A Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science may be substituted for the required education and experience. Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional IT technical and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis. An AOC Information Technology Office Internship may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Completion of a relevant course of training in Information Technology may be substituted for up to one (1) year of required experience.

NOTE: Experience using SMP/e and ISPF/TSOe in an zOS 1.10 or above environment, experience with CICS/DB2/SMS environment and experience with Disaster Recovery would be helpful.

DRIVER'S LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

AUTHORIZATION TO WORK: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.

Our client, a major luxury retailer is seeking their Director of Treasury Operations. The Director of Treasury Operations is responsible for the strategic and effective management of the Company's: global cash and bank relationship management programs; cash flow forecasting and analysis; investment; liquidity management; and, foreign exchange risk and precious metal commodity price risk positions.
The Director-Treasury Operations will monitor market intelligence regarding economic statistics, economic policy, and laws and regulations to assess their impact on the companyĆ¢€™s global treasury operations. Reports to the Treasurer.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
·                                 Development and execution of short-term & long-term financing strategies to meet the Company's global liquidity needs in a cost efficient manner.
·                                 Active oversight of Company's global cash management practices and procedures, implementing enhancements to improve timing, efficiency and effectiveness of constructive receipt.
·                                 Manage exposures derived from the Company's global foreign currency exchange positions as well as precious metal commodity exposures. Design, recommend and implement strategies to minimize the impact of fluctuations in currency exchange rates and precious metal commodity prices on consolidated earnings and cash flows.
·                                 Manage and maintain the Company's strong relationships with members of the commercial banking and investment banking communities. Oversee the review of bank account statements for accuracy of charges.
·                                 Responsible for ensuring that the Company is in compliance with all covenants and related requirements as stipulated in the Company's debt indentures and bank credit agreements on a global basis.
·                                 Oversee the investment of excess cash positions, the portfolios funding Company's retirement plans and other balance sheet positions. Preparation of cash flow and related schedules for internal management reporting.

Qualifications:
·                                 10 to 15+ years of Treasury Management responsibilities in a multinational company with substantial experience in U.S. and international financing and currency management activities.
·                                 Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, and the ability to analyze financial statements.
·                                 Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven accomplishments in a team environment.
·                                 Must be a Certified Treasury Professional.
·                                 Masters degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance, accounting or international business.
