Subject: SQL Server and MS Access Programmer Analyst contract in Danbury, CT
To: aviwagshol@gmail.com

I hope all is well.
Do you know any SQL Server programmers experienced with moving data from
an Access database to SQL Server?

Title: SQL Programmer Analyst
Location: Danbury, CT
Duration: 2-4 weeks + possible extensions
Rate: Open

Overview
Our client is currently using MS Access database to store Finance and
Payroll information and is seeking an experienced SQL Programmer Analyst to
convert the databases to SQL Server. The consultant will review and analyze
the existing data structure and tables to determine the appropriate tools
and procedures to accomplish the migration. The work will involve pulling
basic tables and user forms from MS Access databases and move these to SQL
Server, as well as automating interfaces from different vendors to load
data via secure FTP rather than manual dumping, therefore some Java
experience is essential

The assignment will initially be for 2-4 weeks involving one application,
then may be extended longer to convert other applications, depending on the
consultants performance
