DESCRIPTION:
The main purpose of the Project Manage – P14 PMO role is to:
•Ensure successful approval, initiation, management and closure of projects, within the context of the overall P14 program and within the company PMO Framework and SDLC guidelines.

Key accountabilities:
•Ensure the projects are planned and managed including the delivery of business case, business requirements, end to end solution delivery and post implementation reviews for all projects.
•Provide regular reports on resource requirements and ensure the internal company Technology resource allocation procedures are adhered to.
•Identify and resolve issues that affect P14 and provide timely escalation to the PMO.
•Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to the P14 PMO on project progress, risks/issues, expenditure and financial status.
•Prepare, validate and
manager project accounts (man-days, cap-ex etc).
•Understand – to an appropriate level of detail – the technical environment and the inter-relationships and dependencies of projects within the program.
•Demonstrate the company Technology management values and supporting a culture of achievement and personal development.
 
OTHER SKILLS
The Project Manager – P14 PMO is expected to have the following knowledge, skills and experience on appointment:
•B.S. degree or equivalent
•more than five years of relevant experience in a commercial project delivery environment, within IT systems delivery, business implementation, or transformation projects;
•more than five years' experience of managing multi-disciplinary, programs and projects throughout the delivery life-cycle;
•more than five years of staff management experience (direct and indirect through matrix management); more than four years' experience of planning and delivering professional presentations;
•good knowledge of project management methods, standards and processes;
•good knowledge of financial management accounting, in particular project accounting;
•good project planning, budgeting and tracking skills and a track record in using these successfully in a high change, multi-project environment;
•excellent management and interpersonal skills adequate for dealing and communicating clearly with the client to management level
•good negotiation, influencing and leadership skills;
•excellent written skills adequate for documenting complex assumptions, risks and commitments clearly and unambiguously;
•the ability to work under pressure to support project deadlines; demonstrable ability to be confident, pragmatic and tenacious and work as a self-starter requiring limited supervision.
•excellent presentation skills and personal credibility adequate to operate effectively at senior management level;
•educated to degree level or equivalent;
experience of understanding and delivering the business benefits that are sought by programmer/project sponsors;
•experience of using influencing skills to build consensus and commitment without using line management authority

Help needed with fall and winter outdoor maintenance at a home in the 5th Ward of New Brunswick, near Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.

Gather leaves from front yard, and bag for pickup.  Cut back outdoor shrubs and plants and bag for trash.  When snow accumulation is greater than 1", shovel front sidewalk (approximately 25' L), front and rear porch steps.
