Application Integration Engineer: TELECOM SOFTWARE
Our client, an emerging software vendor located in New Jersey is focused on becoming the world's leading provider of software and solutions for the high growth Telecommunications Expense Management (TEM) marketplace.  Their portfolio of software, consulting and outsourcing provides organizations with the knowledge and technology necessary to manage their converging communications environments – including all wireless, wire line, and broadband networks.
SUMMARY ROLE:
The Application Integration Engineer: will be responsible for managing software implementation projects from POS to transition to ongoing support. Components of the services will likely include: Engagement Management,  Consulting Services, Managed Services, Licensed Software.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
·        Develop and execute project plans through implementation, testing, training, customer acceptance, and transition to Support Services
·        Coordinate and manage project team resources to guide the project through milestones to meet a successful conclusion
·        Facilitate customer meetings and work with the customer's project team to achieve project deliverables
·        Assist the customer in documenting custom code requirements, Design and load customer databases
·        Install software both remotely and onsite
·        Train users both remotely and onsite
·        Assist in the creation of documentation for the end-user
·        Possible travel up to 35%
QUALIFICATIONS:
·        Three or more years of related implementation or project management experience
·        Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
·        Basic knowledge of SQL Server desired
·        Extensive experience with the integration of information systems
·        Optional:
o   At least 2 years' experience managing the implementation of customer care and billing solutions at service providers
o   Experience with Telecom invoices desired

Saturday, November 17th from 8:30 - 11:00 am: Careers in Transition (CIT) meeting. Individuals give a 15 second elevator speech about themselves -- who you are, what you are looking for, target companies (2-3), how the group can help you, and how you can help the group. This is followed by a short period for networking with people you would like to introduce yourself to and exchange business cards. The group then divides into smaller teams for: 1) Resume Assistance, (Please bring 15 copies of your resume if you want it reviewed.) or 2) Support in Overcoming Job Search Obstacles. This includes: A) Small group advice for individuals who have hit the wall and need help to reinvigorate their job search, or B) Large group discussion on various job search related topics. The meeting is in the Winston School Gym at Christ Church, 30 East Lane, Short Hills, NJ 07078.

Sunday, November 18th from 1:00 – 4:00 pm, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will host Ed McCabe and Rich Kritzer who will present the third segment of a four part workshop titled: Get Your Message Out – NETWORKING. Getting the message out about who you are and what you have to offer to people who are likely to hire you is at the heart of the job search process. This technique is often referred to as Networking. The workshop is at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, One Passaic Street, Ridgewood, NJ 07450, in the lower church meeting room. All are welcome! Monday, November 19th from 7:00 - 9:30 am: The Mondays at 7 Networking Group will host Dr. Paul Maloney, Assistant Professor of the Practice in the Applied Psychology Program at Fairfield University Graduate School, who will give a presentation titled: Managing Interview Stress. Dr. Maloney's presentation will focus on different kinds of stress, their impact on performance, and techniques for reducing stress in the interview. It will examine what can be done before, during, and after the interview, and discuss some practices for developing resilience. The presentation starts at 8:00 am and the public is invited to attend.
