Senior Business Analyst (WFM - Kronos)
Overview:
Our Client is currently seeking a Sr. Business Analyst, Business Systems Development supporting Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) – Kronos WFM application, PeopleSoft HCM application and associated systems. The primary purpose of the Sr. Business Analyst is to gather and document business requirements to support development and enhancements of retail systems and applications. The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for developing a deep knowledge of supported business areas, conducting business requirement sessions, documenting current and to-be process flows and creating detailed requirements documents to support development. In addition, the Sr. Business Analyst will support testing by creating test cases and assisting with the quality assurance process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sr. Business Analyst will document current and to-be process flows to understand and examine business processes using user roles, use cases, edit rules, wireframes and other system specifications in detail. This position will conduct requirements sessions with business users and subject matter experts while providing guidance in formulating new requirements and improving business processes by coming up with creative and alternative approaches to solving business problems.
Additionally the Sr. Business Analyst will manage scope and user expectations by ensuring requirements can be met within existing project budgets and timeframes and assist Project Managers in the management of project deadlines and schedules. Responsibilities will also include identifying and understanding business strategy, issues and opportunities to assists business partners in identifying and prioritizing new initiatives and capabilities. Assisting in developing test cases and participating in the quality assurance process and production of training documentation will also be completed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
To be qualified for this position you must have a bachelor's degree and 4 to 6 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst role. Demonstrated experience documenting use cases and functional requirements is required. Qualified candidates must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills along with strong written and verbal communications skills. Strong presentation skills with strong business acumen are required. Candidate must also have working Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project. Expertise in the implementation & support of the Kronos Workforce Management v 6.x system is required; Experience in the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) v 9.x system, specifically Human Resources, North American Payroll, Benefits and all Self-Service modules is a plus. Specific technical skills are outlined below:

* Kronos Workforce Management system v 6.x experience required, including Workforce Manager, Timekeeper Employee, Workforce Employee Self-Service, Workforce Analytics, Workforce Activities, Workforce Scheduling & Workforce Forecasting.
* PeopleSoft HCM v 9.x experience is required, including HR, Benefits, Payroll and Self Service.
* Specific experience in implementing the Kronos application in Retail, Manufacturing or Distribution environments is preferred.
* Strong written, verbal and presentation skills are required.
