Position Responsibilities – Summary

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to
play a leadership role on a collaborative team and contribute to a wide
variety of initiatives to support the Derivative Operations team. This role
provides technical leadership to the IT team supporting the operational
functions relating to OTC derivatives (swaps and options), cleared swaps,
and exchange-traded derivatives (futures and options). All current
applications are homegrown and support the business team's third party
vendor relationships, trade notifications, daily collateral and margin
workflows, and daily swap settlement workflows. Given the evolving
regulatory environment and the new initiatives requested by the business,
this is an exciting time for someone to play a leadership roll in this
effort.

As member of Investment Administration & Corporate Applications, this
individual will be responsible to lead the Derivatives Operations
development team to design, develop, and implement projects and enhancements
to a variety of applications ranging from Derivatives Trade Communication,
to OTC Collateral Processing, to Futures Margining.

This role should be focused 50% on leadership and management and 50% on
hands-on programming and solution design. The Lead Software Engineer will
manage 2 full-time employees onshore as well as a team of 10 development and
QA consultants located both onshore and offshore.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the development team activities including prioritizing
requests, designing solutions, and supervising the development efforts

· Participate in architecture, design, implementation, deployment,
and support

· Work with business team, project managers, and systems analysts to
review and qualify business requirements, functional specifications,
use-cases, and test plans

· Design, prototype and code new software components and
applications based on functional specifications.

· Coordinate with analyst teams to execute test plans and provide
support during user acceptance testing.

· Modify and enhance existing systems to incorporate new
functionality and to optimize them for performance, and implement new
systems.

· Work with other software engineers to design and implement
application features, including user interfaces, and business functionality
enhancements.

· Author technical design and support documentation.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· 8+ years of proven analysis and technical design, development, and
architecture experience

· 2+ years leading technical teams including managing an offshore
development team

· Expertise developing J2EE applications using JDBC and JMS

· Java Web-Framework experience - Struts, SPRING or similar

· Experience in relational database technologies with strong SQL
skills – Oracle & PL/SQL Required.

· Experience with, and demonstrated understanding of modern software
development and testing methodologies

· Willing to work in an energetic, fast-paced, and team-oriented
environment and handle multiple conflicting priorities

· Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal
supervision

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the
ability to write technical documentation

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

1. Technical: This is a hands-on Java coding role. Oracle and PL/SQL are
also required.

2. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience.

4. Asset Management experience is required. Building applications for a

Position Responsibilities - Summary:

My client is seeking Sr. Software Implementation Consultants to join their
Professional Services team. A Sr. Consultant must have a proven track record
of providing an exceptional level of effective business solution
implementation and delivery execution of large scale, complex enterprise
software. This individual may oversee the work of junior consultants and/or
be expected to address more complex and challenging assignments. Further,
they are seeking Consultants with extensive domain expertise in asset
accounting for utilities, oil & gas, transportation, mining, and
telecommunication industries.

Software is currently installed on premise and project length ranges from
6-9 months for average sized projects, with 1-3 people assigned, and 12+
months for large sized projects, with 4-6 people assigned.

The Sr. IC may work on multiple projects depending on size, scale and scope
of efforts.

Travel is expected to up to the 80% area Monday thru Thursday (M-T), all of
US + Some Canadian - Home Office Based roles with expenses fully paid.

A Sr. Consultant will be expected to perform the following duties:

· Actively participate and be highly engaged as part of an
implementation project team (including clients, colleagues, other
consultants, vendors, etc.). Contribute and share application and
domain/industry expertise, and functional knowledge of asset accounting.
Possess and demonstrate advanced consultative skills.

· Complete tasks and activities as assigned by the Project Manager,
and in accordance with the firm's methodology. Adhere to project schedules
and budgetary constraints; provide early notice of any potential risks or
issues with respect to adherence to project schedules or budgets

· Address risks and resolve issues relating to implementation; if
needed, with assistance/direction from the Project Manager and/or other
subject matter experts

· Hands-on project execution, including gathering and analyzing
client requirements; determining best practice design of to-be-delivered
solution; developing functional specifications; configuring the application
to meet the approved design, etc.

· Testing: working with their customers, define test plans and
procedures; assist with the development of use and test cases; conduct unit,
system, and integration testing; and support the client's User Acceptance
Testing (UAT)

· Support application go-live by providing knowledge transfer to
clients and ensuring the client staff are ready to operate the application
upon go-live

· Assist clients in transitioning the application to client's
production support team

· Plan and execute effective hand-off to the firm's Support
organization

· Identify client skill or knowledge gaps that might be addressed
via the training organization and/or via an enhanced support model

· May oversee consultants and other resources as well as be expected
to take on our more challenging implementations.

Required Skills and Competencies:

To be considered, Sr. Software Implementation Consultants should have the
majority of the following knowledge and experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or
equivalent combination of education and experience

· A minimum of 5 years implementing enterprise software applications
in a client-facing consultant role
