Head of Financial Systems
Our client, an International media company is seeking their Head of
Financial Systems to join their headquarters in New York City.
He /she will Report to the VP Finance, the candidate will be responsible for
running the company'
HFM) and implementing potential new systems and enhancements (Planning, tax,
corporate GL and treasury systems)
Major Responsibilities
* Partner with finance organization to evaluate requirements for new
and enhanced financial systems
* Continuously maintain and enhance Hyperion system performance,
functionality and security
* Provide on-going support and training for Hyperion system users
* Document and maintain manual of procedures for financial systems
* Implement required system changes and reporting requests
* Partner with Financial Reporting and Financial Planning to ensure
Hyperion system is leveraged to achieve optimal results
* Support corporate G&L, treasury and tax system implementations as
required
* Utilize systems to improve the group's productivity and internal
controls.

Critical Competencies for Success
* Demonstrated track record of success and leadership in implementing
and administrating Financial Systems (Hyperion is a must)
* A degree in accounting and/or information systems. CPA and MBA a
plus. The ideal candidate with be an integrated accountant/IT professional.
* Prior experience with Hyperion for a large multinational
* Must be a hands on person.

Our client needs a Senior Developer for their ACS Wholesale Development
Team. This position will be mainly responsible for the full development
life cycle of wholesale applications which follow the company defined SDLC.
Full development life cycle encompasses, but is not limited to, the areas
of Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, Unit Testing and
Systems Integration Testing. This requires interaction with our Business
Partners, members of our development team, the production support team,
other teams within IT and the business.
The candidate is expected to be a self starter who has already shown
expertise in implementation using a full development life cycle
methodology. Excellent language, communication and writing skills are also
required. Responsibilities will include the development of written
Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications and Implementation
plans as well as coding
Expectations include the ability to react to changing priorities as defined
by management, the delivery of high quality work within the timeframe as
defined by our scheduled delivery date.
*Job Requirements:*
A Bachelors degree in programming/ systems or computer science, specialized
training, certification, or equivalent work experience required.
A minimum of 5 years iSeries development experience.
Apparel Industry experience required.
ACS Experience a plus.
A complete knowledge of iSeries Development tools, including but not
limited to CL, CLLE, RPG, RPGLE, SQL, and DB2.
Experience using the Rational Development tool is a plus.
JWALK development experience is a plus.****
