AITP Members and Friends of the Garden State Chapter

Our next AITP meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at Jim Johnston's Steak
House in Roseland.  This month's topic is "Moving Your Application
Infrastructure to the Private Cloud." It is based on an actual ongoing
hardware and application migration to the cloud by a major financial
institution. This is real life stuff and not a technical tutorial. I think you
will like it and I hope you can make the meeting, and please consider bringing
a colleague or friend.

Again, I kindly ask that you let me
know if you will be attending.

Please RSVP to Doug Hobby to reserve a seat for this great meeting on a topic that is in the spotlight for many companies today.

Thanks,
Doug Hobby

Moving
Your Application Infrastructure to the Cloud - Francesco Puntillo
===================================================
The
presentation will cover a high level overview of the hardware and application
migration by MetLife to the private cloud. The project also faced the challenge
of replacing an aging infrastructure. This will not be a sales pitch type
presentation. Instead, it will be delivered by the individual at MetLife who is
responsible for managing the migration to a cloud-based environment hosted by
CSC.

The Speaker

Puntillo is
