  1. Project Infrastructure: must first be in pro-forma form. The pro-forma in an iterative manner is to address business

needs, where ranking them with respect to a proposed phased deliverable's schedule for a technical solution which

aligns with the documented requirements. In this manner, pricing of phases with respect to existing in-house and

auxiliary third party resources, and then with resource requirements to be filled can be realized.

The alignment of the technical solution proposed must further account for both in-house standards and data security

compliance requirements. All processes that are to both support and leverage the solution, post production, release

must be accounted for in the run books.

Given the pro-forma, the project as either in a waterfall or in an Agile manner, can be decomposed into smaller steps

where the critical path is accounted for. Project tracking after signoff is based on weekly milestone expectations with

daily tracking meetings, where delivery schedules for hardware infrastructure, software coding and unit tests can

be liberally accounted for. Given specific latitude in the milestone schedule, setbacks for any reason have a window

of opportunity for mitigation and resolve prior to a next phase commencement period. The Run Books and related

processes must further be compliance tested prior to production release of the milestone release.

In a multi-national environment, processes in the run books must be accounted in an upstream- downstream manner.

Support protocols both for normal operation and fail-over/fail back procedures post compliance testing can be

formalized where both needed onshore and off shore resource teams are accounted for.

Data Security: Materaility of the operation, if seen as rings of critical measure, is to be layered where the business data

is at the core, application infrastructure as its immediate surrounding ring where end user access can be made virtual.

Given the right data center infrastructure, downtime and fail over/fail back operations should not impact the business,

where its people can conduct their daily procedures unimpeded in access.

Platform Availability: As a foundation for a viable technical solution, J2EE Architecture accessed via round-robin DNS

and which accounts for DMZ1-DMZ3 enables a flexible platform. This is where each DM Zone can operate independently

with an alternative peer zone. In this way, proxies in DMZ1 of the primary data center can route to app servers in DMZ2

of a secondary regional data center, where DMZ3 where accessing DMZ3 of another regions data center if needed.

Replication of business data in DMZ3' between regions can be accomplished through pipes such as Big IP if needed.
