Experts in extracting components of SQL statements, analyzing business reports to determine what the true metrics are and ultimately driving to what data elements are used to create the metrics.
Candidate will need to work with report owners to understand how the report ws created and how data was collected
Ability to analyze reports and understand underlying data elements
Data Mapping & data lineage skills
Candidate will need to reverse engineer report to data
Excellent MS Office skills - Expert of excel (functions like pivot tables, vlookups etc)
Excellent understanding of RDBMS concepts
Experience using DB Query tools like Toad, SQL Assist, Business Objects, SAS etc is good
Experience working with meta data repository
