Position Responsibilities - Summary

This individual will be responsible for requirements, systems analysis,
testing, and project management supporting the Investment Coordination (IC)
group within Investment Administration (IA). The IC group is responsible
for investment performance measurement, performance attribution, benchmark
maintenance, performance composites, client cash flows, cash monitoring &
management and providing support to the investment teams.

This position requires a high level of direct interaction with business
users as well as excellent communication and delivery. The candidate should
have domain knowledge from another asset manager or financial services firm
and have previously worked in or supported an investment operations business
group. This role will report to the Manager of the Performance & Cash
Applications team.

Responsibilities:

· Interact with investment professionals to proactively identify
opportunities for new/improved systems

· Work with business partners to define, analyze and document
requirements

· Produce functional specifications for new systems and enhancements

· Coordinate the work of systems analysts, software developers & QA
testers (onshore/offshore), database architects and data vendors to design
and implement robust technical solutions to achieve business outcomes

· Coordinate project tasks across multiple IT groups

· Plan and perform functional testing of new systems and
enhancements

· Provide ongoing support including issue tracking and status
reporting

· Collaborate with business partners to prioritize
support/enhancement needs

· Key to this role is maintaining effective client relationships,
communication, organization/execution/follow-through, analytical capability,
taking ownership, working collaboratively, and challenging the status quo

Required Skills and Competencies:

· A minimum of 10 years of work experience in a financial services
technology environment

· Experience in back / middle office processes for an asset manager
or financial services firm

· Strong client relationship, communication and analytical skills

· Change agent, creative, innovative and focused on continuous
improvements

· Demonstrated project management experience on medium to large
initiatives

· Demonstrated analytical experience on new systems build-outs as
well as on enhancements to existing systems

· Strong understanding of investment processes

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or
related discipline

Keys to this Position:

1. Domain: Strong Asset Management knowledge with a focus on middle office
IT operations. This individual will be supporting the Performance and Cash
Team. Any knowledge of Cash Management or Performance is a plus.

2. Strong Systems Analysis skills are required.

3. Project Management skills are also required. This is a senior level

Position Responsibilities - Summary

As member of the IA Application Development Team, this individual will be
responsible for design, architecture, development and maintenance of
applications within Investment Coordination (IC) Systems group including,
but not limited to, Cash Flow System, Cash Management System and integrating
applications.

The individual will participate in all development activities to
successfully deploy new systems and enhancements, and work with colleagues
and end users to design, develop and implement solutions to meet business
outcomes.

Responsibilities:

· Participate in architecture, design, implementation, deployment,
and support efforts across all IC applications

· Work with business team members, project managers/analysts, other
software engineers to review and qualify business requirements, functional
specifications, use-cases, and test plans

· Design, prototype and author code for software components and
applications based on functional specification and optimize them for
performance

· Ensure the adherence to established code-quality standards within
the IC development and QA teams, such as Continuous Integration, Code
Reviews, and all required release documentation

· Provide technical direction to both onshore and offshore
development team members with regards to iteration planning, release
planning, and prioritization of work across all IC project tracks

· Work across teams such as with middleware, database, and
architecture teams to coordinate and facilitate production releases of IC
applications

· Author architecture, technical design, and support documentation

Required Skills and Competencies:

· 10 years of software development experience

· 4+ years of proven object-oriented software design and development
experience in dynamic Web 2.0 technologies and browser based technologies.

· 3+ years of experience with web services APIs, Spring, XML/XSLT,
Struts

· Must be comfortable working with Oracle databases, and possess
excellent Oracle SQL, SQL tuning, and PL/SQL skills

· Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal
supervision

· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

· Financial industry knowledge is a huge plus

integral member of the development team responsible for developing the
firm's next generation Equity Trading System.

This is an application development role and not a Web development role.
