Position Summary:

This member of the Fixed Income Systems Team will combine quantitative and
software engineering skills to provide analytical tools to the firm's fixed
income investment professionals.

Responsibilities:

* Partner closely with investment professionals to understand
business problems and to create effective technical solutions.

* Perform detailed analysis of analytical/quantitative problems and
provide guidance to the technical development teams.

* Active participation in the development of business requirements
for financial models, including a close working relationship with the Fixed
Income Quantitative Research team.

* Stay abreast of the "state of the art" as it relates to investment
practice, both within the firm and throughout the industry.

Required Skills and Competencies:

* A minimum of five years of experience in the investment industry,
ideally with an investment bank, hedge fund, or asset manager.

* A minimum of three years in a quantitative role supporting fixed
income investment professionals.

* Demonstrated understanding of fixed income securities (including
related derivatives), quantitative concepts, and related front-office
investment processes.

* A good handle on "bond math" and relevant fixed income market
conventions.

* At least seven years of applications programming experience in a
commercial environment using C++, Java, or C#.

* Working knowledge of SQL and relational database technology.

* Demonstrated client focus and relationship management skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

* Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical
production environment.

* Strong delivery focus and ability to overcome obstacles.

* An advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, physics,
statistics or another quantitative field.

1. Technical: We are seeking a strong server side Java/J2EE developer with
multi-threading, web services and messaging (JMS) as well as database skills
(preferably Oracle).

Position Summary:

This position reports to the Platform OS Manager. The Sr. Systems Engineer
will be responsible for enhancing the Hardware and software monitoring
capabilities in the Server and Storage environment.

Monitoring enhancement and coverage to include:

* Solaris OS

* OEL and RHEL Linux

* Windows Server

* Active Directory

* HP and SUN x86 hardware

* Veritas and LVM volume manager

* Veritas Cluster

* HW and SW logs

* EMC Storage HW logs

* Alerting on conditions in the HW and Software that should be
investigated

* Assist in configuring alerts in BMC

Required Skills and Competencies:

* 5+ years of implementing and administering UNIX based systems
utilizing OEL, RHEL and Solaris.

* Experience managing and implementing Windows Server Environments
(Active Directory Experience a Plus).

* Experience managing and implementing VMware solutions.

* Knowledge of SNMP traps and the functionality of standard
enterprise monitoring tools such as BMC.

* Ability to script using PERL and Shell.

* Thorough hands-on knowledge and understanding of hardware
configuration.

* Hands-on experience with Veritas File System and Volume Manager
Software.

* Clustering & High-availability design and implementation
