Production Supervisor for a
specialty chemical plant located near Newark, NJ.  This position reports to the Plant Manager.
 
The Production Supervisor will
manage the hourly employees to achieve company goals related to safety,
production, quality control, incoming raw materials, inventory cycle counts,
boiler operation, inventory management, etc.  The Production Supervisor may need to cover other shifts depending on
the production requirements. This position reports to the Plant Manager.
 
Position requirements:
·         BS in Chemical
Engineering (preferred), or Mechanical/Civil/Electric Engineering
·         3—5 years
supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing plant
·         Current NJ Boiler
Seal strongly preferred
·         Experience with:
* agitators
* distillation
* pumps
* chillers
* air compressors
* cooling tower fans and pumps
