Seeking a Lead Business Analyst, NYC, Contract.
>BridgeView IT is seeking a Lead Business Analyst. The role is located in New York City. It is a contract opportunity. The Lead Business Analyst will be responsible for leading a team of BAs delivering consumer focused requirements for registration, sales acquisition, customer relationship management, access control, billing and fulfillment across client brands and through web, mobile, tablet and print products, set the direction for a technical team. He/She will define and prioritize the roadmap and delivery plan in line with the company strategy, taking a holistic view across stakeholder management, business benefits and cross team dependencies across the program

>Required Skills:
> * At least 8 years of working as a Business Analyst. (Required)
> * Led or managed technical teams (Required)
> * Worked in the media, publishing or a similar consumer focused industry. (Highly Desirable)
> * Skilled and structured in analysis; and know how to use User Stories, UML, Business Process Modeling and prototyping.
> * Strong at problem solving and able to design solutions that meet a range of sometimes conflicting requirements.
> * Able to narrow down potential solutions to options and recommendations.
> * Able to use visual techniques, both in diagrams and informally on the whiteboard, that make it easier to understand and reason with difficult problems.
> * Able to build strong personal relationships and trust.
> * Able to facilitate disparate stakeholders and team members and drive consensus in meetings, workshops and one to one interactions.
> * A thorough, appropriate and timely communicator. Able to clearly communicate complex technical subjects to business and technology stakeholders.
> * Able sell ideas or visions. Influence and advise stakeholders at all levels and positions in the company.
> * Knowledgeable in customer and marketing, commercial or editorial technologies such as CRM, product management, billing, advertising and publishing. (Desirable - or have clear aptitude to learn these).
> * Worked through the entire technology delivery lifecycle from inception to release and maintenance. (Highly Desirable)
> * Delivered in agile/iterative environments with experience of methodologies such as SCRUM (preferable), RUP, Lean and DSDM. (Highly Desirable)
> * Worked in large transformational programs and have awareness of methodologies (Desirable)
>Responsibilities:
> * Be part of a team designing clients' business and technology solutions.
> * Regularly launch products and services based on your work and be a creative and integral part of making these a success.
> * Elicit requirements and prioritize them with a wider team.
> * Guide, influence and challenge stakeholders to understand the relative business benefit of their ideas and concepts.
> * Be a key member of the Business Analysis team, contributing to the consistent quality of the Business Analysis Approach at our client.
> * Lead a Business Analyst team on a major delivery program
> * Produce quality, clear and consistent outputs that are required though all the phases of a delivery.
> * Manage stakeholders, third parties and vendors, building relationships and achieving great internal customer satisfaction.
> * Manage requirements throughout the project life-cycle ensuring requirement traceability from analysis and UAT through to delivery.
> * Design solutions that meet people, process and technology needs and provide a route from the As-Is to the To-Be.
> * Monitor the business case validity throughout the life of the project and realize business benefits.
