Job Description
The Network and Data Practice Director is responsible for all aspects of developing and managing the multi-million dollar computer network and data services business of Consultedge. The Practice Director will be responsible for working with the sales department, and directly with customers, in determining opportunities for network, security and systems products and services sales. The practice director will be responsible for managing the staff of consultants who will deploy these systems.
Responsibilities
Work with sales and strategic accounts in building business opportunities
Define service and product offerings
Design networks from a pre-sales perspective
Work with partners and vendors in defining product and services offerings
Manage consulting staff; work with consultants building the network
Manage profitability of Network and Data Practice
Required skills
Must have a firm understanding of network products such as Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Aruba Wireless and HP Procurve
Must understand and be able to design networks utilizing routers, switches, wireless networks and firewalls
Understanding of how these networks fit into a telephony system
Verbal and written communication
Well spoken, ability to articulate issues to customers (both internal and external)
Demonstrates ability to communicate using the written word. Writes clear, concise, well thought-out material
Organization/ Project Management
Ability to multi-task; ability to prioritize

The opening requires strong knowledge of IT Governance in addition to the above skills. It is located in New York, NY.
Seeking seasoned Program Manager with particular expertise with: IT Governance Strategy and Implementation, IT Portfolio Management, and IT Financial Management Reporting. This position requires a flexible, highly-motivated individual, with exceptional analytical and communication skills. The individual will be responsible for supporting large-scale initiatives, interfacing directly with all levels of management across the business and IT.
Success Criteria:
oFirm grasp of IT financial management disciplines
oProgram management experience, leading large scale initiatives with multiple stakeholders
oStrong analytical capabilities

oWorking knowledge of the securities industry
oStrong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
oAt least 10 years of Project Management experience
oFinancial Industry experience required; Front Office experience is desired
oFinancial analysis and budgeting experience needed to help create IT programs

There were a lot of people asking for a repeat of the Linked In
presentation and someone listened.
It will take place on Sunday, July 28 at Bridgewater United Methodist
Church at 11:30 AM.
I attended the first one and it was very good and I learned a lot. The
presenters are Fran and Bill Lytle, owners of Brand Champs who are experts at
helping companies position their products and brands in the best way to get
the most positive exposure in the markets they are wanting to target.
This is a free presentation.
The church is located at 651Country Club Road in Bridgewater, NJ. If you
head west on Rt.22, turn right at the 2nd light right after going under the
2002/206 overpass. This is right at the end of the Ethicon campus.The
church is on the left about 1/2 mile in. There should be signs directing you
to the lecture.
If you get there a bit early, there are refreshments (lemonade on lawn)
with a free will offering.
If you announce this at a meeting, make sure that everyone is aware of the
directions. We had several guests last time but one lady was waiting at
St. Bernards church and could not understand that there was no one else
there.
Unfortunately I will not be there because I will be away.
But you will find the presentation worthwhile and first class.
