Artech has an urgent contract for one of our direct clients:

Job Title: Lab Support/Desktop Support
Location: Bridgewater, NJ
Duration: 5+ months (possibility of further extension)

Job Description:
Duties:
Candidates will be working with lab support systems, focusing on the
connectivity between the work stations and lab equipment.

Maintains, troubleshoots, and provides technical support for laptop and desktop
computer users. Works with requestors of new equipment to determine application
needs for new and existing users. Interfaces with tech support network
administrators to have appropriate logins/passwords created to corporate
applications and network resources. Prepares folders of individual logins for
new users and assists other PC technicians in setting up and testing created
logins. Must be prepared to contact remote users and other employees to
determine the status of login creation and to retrieve necessary files from
existing users. Processes special requests for computer users involving
equipment ordering, hardware replacement/upgrades, software installation and
moves from one internal location to another.

Skills:
Candidates should have experience with lab support systems, GC/HPLC
eqipment/software.

Remedy - IMAC, Customer Service Skills, organized, polite, follows direction,
prompt,neat appearance. Help desk experience.

Education:
BA BS or Technical School plus work experience
