Position:
• Senior SAP ABAP Analyst
Position is responsible for the analysis, configuration and programming related to SAP life cycle.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all technical enhancements and reporting needs related to Sales & Distribution, Finance, Materials Management, Production Planning and IP Chargeback Module.
• Perform ABAP development of reports, programs, tables, functional modules, user exits, as well as sap script and smart form output, workflow, ALE/IDOC.
• Responsible for optimizing the SAP solution and supporting design requirements. Develop, maintain and support SAP design and technical objects by resolving defects, solving end user problems, answering related questions and testing/validating functionality.
• Responsible for interfacing SAP applications with other systems and applications.
• Responsible for the implementation and operation of EDI in the company including the setup of any new customers on EDI.
• Responsible for setup and operation of AS2 server for secure communications with trading partners.
• Provides daily support for IP, EDI and other modules of SAP.
• Unit and integration testing of all SAP modules
Education and Experience:
REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus related work experience
• 5+ years experience in IT/SAP ABAP – specifically in ABAP programming and ALE configuration
• Project management and customer service skills
• Cross functional business experience
• Strong communication skills
• SAP Functional experience (SD, MM, PP, IP-Vistex)
PREFERRED:
• SAP Certification for ABAP Programming
• SAP ALE/IDOC Training
• Pharma experience desired
• SAP BI
• At least 2 lifecycle implementations
• EDI (Extol) experience
• Vistex experience
