Client is an IT Professional Services company (design, installation, operation of networks) with a strong track record in the education market (K-12 and university).  We are looking for a senior, high performing Business Development Manager to uncover and develop large sales opportunities and to develop and leverage strategic relationships with vendors, industry organizations and distributors.
For this role, the successful candidate MUST have experience selling to the Education Market in the NJ/NY area as well as experience selling IT Professional Services, Network Integration or Managed Services
 
Job Objective:
Responsible for developing and maintaining business development initiatives to meet organizational objectives.        
Target clients / accounts within the education vertical in New Jersey promoting and selling our cloud portfolio of services & solutions
:          Generate new business to increase revenue streams throughout our existing client base
:          Work with Account Executives on selling our solutions to all existing customers.
:         Develop Marketing plans with perspective practice managers
:          Extensive new business sales experience along with the ability to manage and develop existing accounts
:          A proven track record in selling Infrastructure technology & managed services including but not limited to virtualization, cloud computing, managed services and hosting
:          Exposure / experience in VM Ware, Citrix, Cisco and EMC
  Demonstrate technical marketing skills and knowledge of the company's products and services.
:       Develop plan in conjunction, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting organizational objectives.
:       Develop business plans geared towards manufacturers to obtain marketing funds, i.e. working with Ingram Micro Manufacturers.
:       Create relationships and market the company to consortiums in conjunction with Business Development.
:       Manage the entire product portfolio in conjunction with technology managers and for strategic planning and tactical activities.
:       Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by visits to customers and analyzing current market conditions.
:       Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute. (Management P4's and Executive Initiatives)
:       Analyze potential partner relationships and strengthen existing partner relationships, i.e. manufacturers, distributors, consortiums.
:       Drive and develop new business in new verticals by evaluating needs of potential customer base and create a strategy for entry with Business Development

1) TECHNICAL WRITER, New York City - Description

The Technical Writer is responsible for documenting a new and enhanced application system and writing of User Manuals for use by both customers and internal personnel. The Technical Writer is responsible for creation of training materials and aiding the trainers in understanding the system and its usage. This position requires the understanding of computer systems analysis techniques in order to identify and document system components as well as document the interaction of the various system components. Analysis of the computer system and documentation of application system components. Documentation of the system outputs and computer system navigation. Identification and documentation of system changes and enhancements to ensure data integrity. Documentation of allowable inputs, error messages, tips and warning messages. Preparation of training documents. Preparation of System Release Notes relating system features to business requirements. Analysis and coordination of operating procedures to facilitate writing of Manager System and Operations Manual. Manage creation and updating of multiple versions of Workstation Manuals dependent upon audience and/or user community.

Qualifications

Required Experiences and Skills – Two to four years of experience as a Technical Writer; minimum of two years writing System User Manuals. Business systems analysis skills required to document system components. Financial industry and managed accounts experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well with business partners. Technical proficiency in browser applications. Technical proficiency in XML Publishing.

(2) BUSINESS ANALYSIS CONSULTANT, New York City - Description

The job holder is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysis Consultants to analyze, define, challenge and prioritize the business requirements, functional specifications and operational architecture for a functional work stream within a highly complex strategic, global program. S/He formulates and defines program scope and objectives for the work stream across all business, operations, and technology stakeholders by thoroughly understanding business processes in a specific business domain. S/He has hands-on expertise and business domain knowledge in the sophisticated, global capital markets industry; including securities processing, custody, alternative investments (hedge funds/derivatives), clearance, accounting, cash processing, reporting and/or brokerage areas. S/He can lead the business analysis and testing functions for a team within an overall large-scale mission-critical program. S/He leads coordination and consensus building across multiple global internal and often external business and technology groups, and leads initial strategy/planning and scope definition through to process design, requirements development, testing, training and implementing of the solution for their functional area assigned. S/He demonstrates a deep understanding of end-to-end operation flows across multiple applications, extensive experience with Software Development Life Cycle processes and techniques and a deep understanding of application architecture for his/her domain area(s) of expertise.

Qualifications
Minimum 8-12 years of related experience required. Must hold a BS degree in a business or technical-related field, and a Master s degree is preferred. Job holder must have extensive experience with best-in-class methods, tools and techniques for elicitation and documentation of internal and external client needs and associated requirements. This includes use case modeling, business process modeling, and formal requirements traceability techniques using tools such as RequisitePro. S/He must be able to lead the analysis of client requirements, manage project progress, manage issues and risks, identify potential roadblocks and be accountable for keeping projects on track. S/He must possess superior communication and presentation skills with expertise in formal requirements elicitation techniques, including large-scale and formal workshop facilitation with senior stakeholders. As well, the job holder must utilize his/her industry domain expertise to challenge and prioritize the business and client requirements and influence decision making and drive consensus to allow for solution optimization, speeding time-to-market and phasing of these multi-year complex initiatives. In addition to the functions above, this individual is an expert in testing with extensive experience in functional and UAT test planning, test case development and execution.
