Job Title: OCONUS Site Lead

Location: Kabul, Afghanistan

Responsibilities:

  • Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities.
  • Interface with government personnel in highly demanding environment.
  • Manage subcontractor personnel, all logistics for deployed team members, ground internet services, SATCOM services, and oversee maintenance of aircraft support services.
  • Perform analysis of alternatives and provide recommendations on solutions to real time problems within a limited infrastructure OCONUS environment.
  • Manage inventory and logistics of DoD systems.
  • Provide safety oversight of aircraft operations.
  • Knowledge of PED/PME is a benefit.
  • Provide daily and regular reports to Government and Team management personnel.
  • Attend meetings with customer personnel.

Qualifications:

  • B. S. Degree in a technical/engineering or business discipline.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in Operations Management in an OCONUS environment.
  • 5 years management and supervision of substantive military hardware/software
  • TS/SCI Clearance Required.
  • Able to support long term deployment schedule.

Job Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Fort Meade, Maryland

 

Overview: The Systems Engineer will perform engineering for trade off study for DISA ground systems including performance, cost and resilience. Interact with key DISA organization that will be required to provide input into the trade studies. Knowledge/experience with DISA PEO COMMS, Teleport or Gateway organizations preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a resilient DoD SATCOM Capability leveraging wideband DoD SATCOM and COMSATCOM ground assets
  • Ascertain the RESN requirements for the DISA terrestrial infrastructure architecture, technology, costs and future capability evolutions
  • Develop a reference architecture of DISA Resilient Ground
  • Include new technology components such as VC-SAN and Digital IF
  • Include both upgraded/new MILSAT (Hop/Dehop variant) and COMSAT space segment capabilities
  • Perform qualitative analysis to identify capability and affordability gaps to support RESN requirements
  • Develop a framework that supports systematic and quantitative analysis of resilience, performance and cost of the DISA Resilient Ground

Location: APG, Maryland

 

Overview:

Candidate must have program risk management expertise and knowledge in Aerial Surveillance Operations, PED/PME, ARST, aircraft operations and aircraft maintenance. Candidate must have understanding and experience in government contracting and contract compliance. Candidate must be able to access all aspects of the program to identify, define, and communicate risks. Experience developing risk assessments and risk mitigation plans is required.

Responsibilities: Works closely with Program Director, Program Managers, Project Leaders and Program Analysts to:

  • Support project accomplishments
  • Create, harmonize and ensure compliance to schedules required to manage the project
  • Coordinate cross-functional reviews as necessary
  • Produce effective visibility to accomplish the project objectives
  • Understand maintenance and modification of aircraft and associated equipment well enough to indentify risks.
  • Assesses team capabilities, skills and resources to advise leadership on appropriate actions to avoid, mitigate or defer project risks.
  • Understand Army supply chain management and assess project supply chain processes for risks.
  • Understand technical aspects of the program to determine impacts to cost, schedule, and delivery.
  • Develop risk matrices, risk assessments and risk mitigation plans for all assigned projects.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent working experience, with 5 years+ experience with aircraft operations is preferred
  • Familiarity with Program/Project Management processes
  • Sound aircraft Engineering, and/or Operations experience
  • PMP certification or eligibility
  • Aptitude for leadership and ability to influence
  • Excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities
  • Pro-active attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project, experience with MS Access
  • Knowledge in maintenance and personnel management procedures, and organizational and mission requirements; capabilities, limitations, and basic operating principles of aircraft systems and components
  • Prior deployed military experience is a plus.

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: APG, Maryland

 

Overview:

Defense contractor is looking for a Project Scheduler or Project Manager with strong scheduling, Earned Value Management or EVMS, PMP certification, MS Project, and government contracting experience in Engineering to develop, maintain and manage project schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for supporting a multi-functional Supply Chain Management team to include spares supply management, establishing spares forecast models, and coordinate inventory control operations and depot management functions.
  • Support the management of Depot operations and report on Depot effectiveness.
  • Manage and coordinate the operational aspects of one or more projects and serve as the liaison between project management and the project team, planning, and line management for sharing information and resolving basic problems.
  • Using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and tools, monitor and report status on critical supply chain for cost and delivery status.
  • Familiarity with Army Supply Management Standards and production management systems (SAP, MTO, COLTS, etc) is crucial to being successful in this role.
  • Interface with manufacturing staff, production control, purchasing, finance, and quality to support on time delivery performance. Identify cost reduction opportunities for lean supply chain.
  • Coordinate with customer for reporting status and issue resolution across the spectrum of logistics issues.
  • Drive the overall process of program using leadership and supply chain management experience.
  • Must demonstrate an extensive understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.

Qualifications:

Must have BS degree in Engineering or related, 5+ yrs exp strong scheduling, PMI/PMP, MS Project, Excel, EVMS, heavy analysis and reporting skills and a security clearance.

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: APG, Maryland

 

Overview:

The individual will serve as the Project Scheduler/EVM Consultant for Federal Government programs. He/she will be the subject matter expert for all program activities related to scheduling and will provide expertise in the development, implementation, and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). The individual will establish integrated scheduling processes and protocols to ensure vertically and horizontally integrated schedules and scheduling products. He/she will integrate the program schedule system with an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and other program performance reporting and data systems. The experienced candidate will apply the methods, tools, and techniques that are appropriate for the work requirements and assure that the technical quality of work products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

The individual will develop program management items such as Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structures (OBS), Responsibility Assignment Matrices (RAM), Program Schedules, Schedule Plans and Baselines, Work Authorization Documents, Control Account Plans, and Schedule Analytic Reports. He/she should also be proficient in the design, implementation, and support of an EVMS which is compliant with the ANSI/EIA 748 standard and other applicable regulatory guidelines.

  • Function as a facilitator at all levels throughout the schedule development process and communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the development of the WBS for schedule preparation and cost analysis
  • Defining and sequencing project activities
  • Tracking baselines and performing "what-if" analyses
  • Controlling and maintaining the program IMS
  • Evaluating schedule health consistent with the DCMA 14-point Assessment
  • Performing critical path assessments and analysis
  • Preparing extracts from Microsoft Project for import into EVMS and reporting tools
  • Support the design and implementation of an EVMS which is compliant with the ANSI/EIA 748 standard
  • Support EVMS maintenance and reporting
  • Support all formats of Integrated Program Management Reporting (IPMR)
  • Perform work with minimal supervision, assist in establishing objectives, and be able to plan and schedule activities to accomplish objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Math, System Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience designing, analyzing, and implementing project schedules and integrated master schedules for Federal Government programs. In addition, the candidates should have experience designing, implementing, and supporting an EVMS which is compliant with the ANSI/EIA 748 standard and other applicable regulatory guidelines. Applicant must have familiarity with government contracting and acquisition.
