Sr. Statistician, Business Intelligence
The VetInsite division of Vetstreet, a leading communications company for the professional animal health industry is seeking an experienced Senior Statistician to work out of its Yardley, PA office as a member of its Business Intelligence team.
The company seeks a highly motivated, self-directed, results-oriented individual to that is committed to delivering monthly market projections and analysis for our Pharmaceutical and Animal Health industry clients. The preferred candidate will have experience in the development of market projections using transactional sales data gathered across multiple divergent sources in a health related industry. The candidate will be responsible for the selection and maintenance market samples along with the related data quality and integrity processes.
In addition the candidate should meet the following requirements:
- MS/PhD degree.
- 2-5 years experience using SAS
- 3-7 years experience using SQL, PL/SQL and stored procedures in an Oracle environment.
- Expert using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint).
- Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills and client interaction skills.
- Have strong data management/analysis skills with the ability to produce ad hoc reports upon request.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
