The Small Talk on Small Talk

How to improve your networking skills and land that job? This 20-minute
presentation will share everything you need to know to carry on a
conversation with anyone, anywhere. While it may not make you fall in love
with small talk, it will teach how to do it better. Whether it's at a
networking event, with co-workers around the water cooler, or on that
why-does-this-feel-awkward 30 second elevator ride, small talk not only
passes the time but could be your entry into a relationship that could
change your life (or at least your afternoon).

Attendees will learn:

What Small Talk Is

Why It's Important

2 Strategies for Talking with Anyone

The 20-minute presentation will be followed by interactive exercises that
allow you to practice the small talk strategies and get to know the people
around you.
