I have an urgent requirement for a Project Manager for an asset management company in midtown New York.  This is consulting for 6 months and can go longer.  The details are indicated below.  If you are interested, please send me your most current word format resume immediately.  Otherwise, please feel free to forward this email to anybody who is looking for opportunity.    Required skills: • Strong project management and methodology skills • Asset Management – front office and middle office  • Demonstrated success leading application development project teams and completing the delivery of complex IT projects • Working knowledge of systems operations and web infrastructures  • Minimum 7 years experience in information technology   Desired skills:  • Experience supporting a trading desk and / or portfolio managers is a plus  • SharePoint knowledge a major plus Industry   Job Description: a) Day to day project management and leadership of an outsourced, fixed price, construct, test, deploy (CTD) project. The project goal is to implement internal and external business productivity applications and intranet tools using a MS SharePoint platform b) Oversee and coordinate with supplier Project Manager in their execution of the project with a focus on identifying gaps in planning and execution before the project is impacted. c) Oversee and ensure appropriate involvement in the project by other suppliers (i.e. infrastructure supplier) d) Manage quality and effectiveness by creating and working with the supplier to create the appropriate contractual work products and artifacts such as project schedules and plans, status reports, meeting minutes, requirements, system design, traceability, test plans, test schedules, test cases, training and deployment plans. e) Formally manage project issues, risks and change requests ensuring accurate communication of changes and appropriate responses from the supplier   Thank you for your help,   Lucy Barredo VP, Recruiting-MedTalen ts Inc.
