Our client is seeking a hands-on Team Lead with an exemplary academic and professional record, and the entrepreneurial drive to be play an integral role in building a lasting business
This is not your typical financial programming job: The Team Lead will join, and manage, a group of passionate technologists in a dynamic and collaborative environment entirely unlike the sprawling, faceless, and risk-adverse IT departments found in most of the industry.
Requirements:
· Expert knowledge of Core Java (7+ years) and deep background in data modeling--this is a hand's on coding role meant for true technologist.
· Expert knowledge of the latest web-development paradigms as well as strong proficiency with object-oriented methodologies and approaches.
· 5+ years leading a development group and interfacing with clients. Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
· Financial background, preferably fixed-income, a big plus.
· M.S. or PhD in Computer Science from a top-20 university, with a sustained record of academic achievement.
