I'm a Technical Recruiter for NCS Technologies.  We've been in business since 1984 and specialize in software solutions.  I have seen your resume and would like to speak with you about your experience, and a position that I have in New Brunswick, NJ as a Scientific Application Specialist - Junior/Mid-level with a client of ours.  The details of the position are

1) College degree or equivalent work experience required with background in information technology.

2) Must have a minimum of 4-6 years experience in the support and maintenance of applications in the following business areas: Clinical Supply Operation, Stability and Laboratories, PR&D. 

Applications/devices:

a)       Clinical trail randomization & label printing

b)       Clinical label authoring

c)       Documentum

d)       Formulation product indexing

e)       Seimens Building Automation System

f)         Rees

g)       Freezerworks

h)       Mobile data collection devices (scanners, scales, access point)

i)         Wireless RF connectivity

j)         Barcode architecture design

3) Must have strong working knowledge of a GMP/GLP analytical laboratory.

4) Responsibilities include tier 2 technical support (triage, break/fix, solution design, and escalation of issue if required) and some tier 3 support.

5) Must have proficiency in the development of software for related systems and knowledge of systems validation and maintenance SDLCs.

a) Ability to interact with users and translate needs into maintainable configurations, extensions and customizations.

b) Ability to design, author, edit and execute test scripts.

c) Object oriented software development experience desirable.

d) Understanding of Oracle databases, Windows, web technologies and service orientation desirable.

6) Experience in project management in a regulated environment.

a) Planning

b) Resource allocation

c) Commitment and issue tracking and management.

d) Project management software experience.

7) Must be customer focused and team oriented, possessing good interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.

1) Individual contributor position within Preclinical & Pharmaceutical Development Informatics (PPDI).

2) Responsible for triage, break/fix, solution design, implementation, system administration, user support and training for several applications (listed above).

3) Produce quality materials that maintain the validated state of the system; Knowledge in GxP, 21 CFR part 11, Validation in Pharmaceutical Industry.

4) Design and implement maintainable configurations, extensions and customizations. Develop and execute test scripts, create user manuals and other training material. Support ad hoc and custom reporting.

5) When required, provide project management for implementations, upgrades or enhancements for assigned applications.

6) Ability to build effective relationships with key clients in BMS R&D, Informatics staff, and internal and external service providers.

7) Excellent skills written and verbal communications.

9) In our regulated environment, ensure that all activities adhere to relevant policies, SOPs and regulations.
