Perfect person would have 2-5 years experience.
Salary Range This is a permanent position which will pay up to 100k plus bonus.

Job Description A major Foreign Bank Holding Company located in New York City is looking for a Data Network Engineer.
Main Function
As with all large, multiple site, multi-protocol networking environments, problems and changes occur. The
Primary function of the ro0le will be to identify, determine and resolve these issues on an as required basis.
Secondary functions are project management and analyze and ratify regional engineering efforts. For project
Management, candidate needs to complete the necessary tasks on time and within budget with each given project.
Main Duties
The capability to identify possible Firewall/network affecting situations, faulty hardware or logical problems.
Access the firewalls/network and via the use of their knowledge and available tools, identify and resolve the fault
In a timely manner.
Manage projects to complete on time and within budget.
Complete weekly/daily tasks associated with operational firewall and network support.
Perform oversight on engineering initiatives within the region.
Skills Required Basic Qualifications:
5-7 years of hands on experience with fortigate and checkpoint firewalls
5-7 years of hands on experience with Cisco routers/switches
Preferred Qualifications:
CCIE Certified (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal skills
Work experience in a large multiple site, multi-protocol LAN & WAN, preferably with a global financial institurion
Work with Microsoft office products (Work, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Cisco Natkits, Niksun analyzer, protocol and Specturm.
Salary Range This is a permanent position for an AVP and the salary is based on experience.
