Equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education. * Proficiency in Java and multi-tier Web-based development and Internet technologies (HTML, JSP, CSS, XML, and template scripting (e.g. Velocity) ) required * Demonstrated proficiency and experience in Spring -based development a plus. * Knowledge of a scripting language (Perl/Python/etc) highly desired Basic/intermediate knowledge of database design, SQL and database interface (JDBC). * Knowledge of software engineering processes (esp. Scrum/Agile) and source control management highly desired.
