The successful candidate will help identify opportunities for automation in the Law and Compliance verticals and make recommendations for vendor solutions that address these needs.

Some additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

collaborate with business partners from Legal, Compliance & Business Ethics to generate Implementation requirements for replacing existing in house systems with Vendor Solutions (i.e Mitratech, The Network, Personal Trading Applications etc)
conduct walkthroughs of business requirements with vendor to solicit feedback and make appropriate configurations as needed for migration plan
perform detailed evaluation of Vendor components to determine interface requirements with existing upstream and downstream systems
analyze baselined vendor software to determine compatibility with existing Security and Integration requirements
plan and execute migration from existing software or Vendor 3rd party systems to new 3rd party platforms
manage vendor during implementation to identify and resolve issues.

Skills required:

Implementing document management solutions for corporate law departments with products such as iManage
Converting proprietary systems to third party solutions for matter management and ebilling solutions (experience with Tymetrix or Mitratech is a plus)
Facilitating requirements sessions with corporate lawyers in areas such as litigation, transaction and issues
Crisp understanding of the technology offerings in Law and Compliance, that is demonstrated with a perspective on implementing systems projects that have buy in from key stake holders in Law and Compliance departments
Experience in the Insurance and Financial services sector is a plus
Technology experience in private law departments are welcomed legal departments

SPEAKER:  Jim Firestone, Apple Corp
  
It will be all about Apple Corp products – iPhones, iPads, iPods, etc. Our speaker will explain how these products can fit beneficially into your organization and how best to support them. Security issues and other concerns will also be addressed. 
Several officials from Mobile Iron, a company that is licensed by Apple to help update and secure these devices, will also be available to answer questions and assist the speaker. 
 
ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Jim Firestone is Apple's NE Region Systems Engineer responsible for supporting the Company's AT&T Business Channel. He provides technical support and education on iOS device and platform integration, device deployment and security, management and applications to AT&T enterprise customers. Jim has several decades of experience in a variety of technical positions, including Programmer/Analyst, Project Manager, Database Administrator, Mobility Application Consultant and Sales Engineer. In the latter position he was primarily responsible for supporting handheld and wireless smart devices.

Job Details:
BA with Solid Personal Line experience (specifically auto), preferably with a Sys Admin background.

Senior systems analyst position. Personal lines insurance experience is a mandatory requirement (auto and excess liability). Analyzes and develops computer software for insurance, finance and record management duties. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives. Develops system requirements and detailed program specifications from which programmers prepare flowcharts, programs, and tests. Closely coordinates with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications. In conjunction with functional users, develops system solutions. Provides advisory, planning, design, architecture, and technology implementation/integration services to customers to drive tangible business benefit.

1)Network Engineer with CCIE certification - Someone to perform configuration developments as well as to coordinate the actual integration during Implementations and installation periods for Core Backbone routers switches / Data Center Network routing etc.. As well as at remote sites. This work is a combination of Business hours as well as a lot of Weeknight and Weekend coordination. 6 months to 1 year until completion of the project.

2) Network Analyst - Someone with a good knowledge of suppliers , services etc. to perform a full detailed site by site analysis of the costs, services and potential savings associate with converting the Genzyme network. This person needs to have good analytical and financial skills to obtain quotations, understand the termination liabilities and develop a migration plan. Additionally development of documentation and ongoing operational support turnover to OBS, Accenture and RSD's. Requirement for 1 year - 6 Months analysis and 6 Months Implementation

3) Network Architect with CCIE Certification to design a full interoperability with Multiple Suppliers ( OBS / Verizon / Global Crossings ) and a transition Plan to convert on a site by site basis to the Network while still maintaining performance. This requires someone with Knowledge of BGP/OSPF/EIGRP Routing protocols, Route summarization knowledge as well as interoperability between the various network technologies. Assignment 6 Months to develop this plan.
