Project Summary/Functionality that will be involved:

Vendor Master attribute definition, stewardship, parentage (Enterprise Data
Reporting & Analytics)
Vendor Creation process automation Enterprise Data Reporting & Analytics)
Defining/storing ultimate manufacturer of all products throughout the supply
chain (App Services)
Others depending on Phasing

Manages the implementation and consistent delivery of projects to agreed
upon timelines, budgets and expectations of quality.
Works with clients, developers and vendors to determine requirements.
Creates and manages project budget vs. actual expenditures (capital and
expense).
Creates and manages work breakdown structure (WBS) and scheduled project
plan.
Manages and supervises project team resources.
Develops critical path analysis for project implementation.
Responsible for business change management (incl. business process redesign,
training, SOPs).
Manage project scope and timeline through formal change management
processes.
Manages project issues and risks through std issue/risk process.
Communication to stakeholders.
Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with both
technical and non-technical parties.
Ensures compliance with required controls.
Manage projects with dollar values in excess of $500,000.
Bachelor's degree/Technical degree or equivalent requirement.
Master's degree a plus.
PMP, or equivalent certification, required.
Proven experience managing application development projects; strong working
knowledge of common SDLC models.

LEAD:  PM - Active Dir Migration - Hlth System - NYC

Major health system in NYC has an immediate need for an Execution PM for their current Active Directory Migration. This position is responsible for the execution and post support of this project.

The Project Manager plans, manages and coordinates project activities to ensure goals and objectives of a mid-sized project, or multiple phases of a large project are accomplished within the specified time-frame and funding parameters. This position includes supporting the current Active Directory Migration project (gathering, defining and documenting requirements, tasks and budgets) and their execution (running and managing of the projects) as well as post migration support.

Responsibilities include:

Reviews project plan to determine time-frame, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements and allotment of resources to various phases of the project.
Establishes work plan and staffing for each project phase and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project staff.
Confers with project staff to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.
Manages activities of project staff to ensure project progress is on schedule and within budget.
Reviews status reports and modifies schedules and/or plans as required.
Prepares and presents project reports for management, clients or others.
Confers with project staff to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
Coordinates project activities with organizations or agencies outside the health system.
Tracks actual performance against planned project performance, analyzes variances, and work with project team to ensure all customer needs are met while maintaining control of the project.

Qualifications:

Program Management Institute (PMI) Certification, preferred.
Project management, communication, presentation, relationship building and strategic planning and implementation skills, required.
Experience with MS Project and Excel required.

Execution PM
• Work with the Wintel team to validate the accuracy of each migration event's data
• Coordinate the migration time-line for department groupings within a migration event
• Ensure SME resources are allocated and scheduled for the migration event
• Monitor and report on migration progress
• Escalate issues as they arise
• Handle 2 to 3 migrations per week

Post Migration Support PM with Execution responsibilities
• Responsible for Day 2 support
• Coordinate on-site support resources for each migration event
• Work with the customer to record and track migration issues to resolution
• Record lessons learned. Coordinate with the team to adjust for lessons learned.
• Coordinate day 3 Help Desk support for each migration event
• As the Day 2 support demands subside, this position will take on PM Execution responsibilities
• Handle 1 to 2 migrations per week
