Informatica Developer/DBA - (US-NY-New York)

We need someone who, in addition to Informatica, is very strong on the database side – practically a DBA or a database developer, comfortable with table and index creation, database backup and restores, and tuning, and willing and interested to learn Sybase IQ. 

To be clear – this is not a DBA role, nor it is a prod support role – this is for a all-around INF and DB engineer on the development side. 

Skills : 
· Strong proven experience with ETL development with Informatica 
· Designs, develops and implements complex ETL processes 
· Experience in database architecture, design, modeling, optimization, maintenance and programming with Sybase ASE and Sybase IQ 
· Comfortable with table and index creation, database backup and restores, and tuning, and willing and interested to learn Sybase IQ 
· Strong database analytical skills 
· Deep and broad technology set – scripting (Unix, Perl), SOA, software development 
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 

Additional skills that would be a plus: 
· Prior work experience with Java and Microstrategy
