The IT Reporting Analyst on the Apps Development Reporting team will be required to analyze business and technical requirements, leverage technical knowledge of Oracle database environments, and develop reporting solutions. The candidate will be responsible for new development, ongoing maintenance, and Production support for objects within the database schemas of the IT Reporting data model, and build/maintain related PL/SQL procedures for these objects. Candidate will build and maintain Cognos BI Reports (Query Studio, Report Studio), and will build data extracts using SQL.
Candidate will adhere to established processes and standards for development, documentation, change management, and testing.
EXPERIENCE: * Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience writing PL/SQL code on Oracle Database environments.
* Must have experience using SQL to query and analyze data in Oracle Database.
* Knowledge of RWA Calculations, External Ratings, and Credit Risk Reporting would be a plus.
* Experience with Cognos BI Reporting tools (Query Studio, Report Studio) would be a plus.
* Data Warehousing (Data Modelling) would be a plus.
* Must have experience working directly with users to analyze and develop business/technical requirements.
* Must have experience troubleshooting Production reporting issues.
SKILLS: The job requires excellent analytical skills/tools to understand business reporting requirements and to resolve Production issues. Excellent communication (oral & written) skills are a must, as this candidate will work directly with users to gather requirements and to resolve Production issues.
Computer skills are a must with the following software development tools: PL/SQL programming, SQL, TOAD for Oracle, Oracle Database 11G. Cognos BI (Report Studio and Query Studio), and Oracle Discoverer would be a plus.
May need to work on weekends or late hours when addressing a production issue or new code deployment is being perform in production.
