Job Description
Our client is seeking a Network Architect  to plan and develop the network architecture for the global network through gathering requirements and creating a clear technical plan and roadmap.  The successful candidate will interface with key IT figures within multiple business units gathering their requirements and understanding the business objectives. The individual will devise, develop, and implement documented designs including detailed technical schematics. Excellent research and presentation skills are essential for this role.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
·         Knowledge of Juniper architecture such as SRX /MX/EX Series is a must
·         Thorough knowledge of global peering and design of global internet connected IP networks
·         Demonstrable experience in dealing with Internet Registries such as RIPE and APNIC
·         Thorough understanding of BGP and IGPs such as OSPF
·         Understanding of MPLS

POSITION OBJECTIVES: 
The Head of Quality Assurance will be responsible for developing a Quality Assurance strategy that meets current and evolving regulatory requirements, improves the quality of new and legacy products and systems, and creates a culture of service and product quality that permeates the systems organization. 
The Head of Quality Assurance will evaluate the quality processes, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and security policies for both the existing complex legacy systems environment as well as new application development, and lead the creation of a quality assurance framework that will ensure that all applications and systems have the reliability, robustness, and scalability needed to enable and support the continued growth of the business.
The Head of Quality Assurance will revitalize the PMO function to provide effective oversight to programs and initiatives that will improve the quality and efficiency of the systems and technology environment provided to the business. 
The Head of Quality Assurance will lead the development and technology infrastructure staff and their service capabilities to a higher level of maturity by implementing repeatable processes and quality metrics, encouraging adherence to quality methodologies such as 6-Sigma and ITIL, and development methodologies such as CMM, if necessary recruiting additional expert staff members where needed.
The Head of Quality Assurance will work in close partnership with key technology leaders to foster a customer-centric culture, build relationships with the internal clients, and develop an understanding of their business objectives, and to in turn convey the business impact and strategic importance of software development and IT operations to the Quality Assurance team.
The Head of Quality Assurance will build and maintain a positive working partnership with operations and the business leadership by continuously aligning the Quality Assurance initiatives to the changing needs of the business.
      
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

In support of the lines of business, Head of Quality Assurance will be a strong proponent for best operations and technology practices, sound design, strong development habits and maintain an efficient team/project structure.

e)       Work with the Systems Infrastructure organization to develop a service oriented culture; encourage the adherence to ITIL-like principles and policies.
f)         Work with the Systems Development organizations to create a quality oriented software development lifecycle (SDLC) such as CMM that minimizes product defects, data leaks, unplanned outages, ensures complete repeatability of processes and guarantees the integrity of product and system documentation and code.
g)       Provide the context and leadership to motivate the Quality Assurance organization to achieve high levels of performance and job satisfaction. Establish clear performance goals and objectives for the Quality Assurance team to improve the service delivery and business relationships within their respective areas of responsibility; put metrics in place to assess and acknowledge their success. Provide direction and build the capabilities and bench strength of the team reporting into the position through coaching, mentoring and through hiring externally where needed in order to create a world class team. Hold strategic sourcing partners to similar talent requirements.
h)       Create a Client Centric Culture â€" drive a passion for customer service throughout the organization by helping to create an awareness of how end to end quality processes and metrics impact the overall client experience.
i)         Monitor departmental budgets and projects to ensure that results are delivered and approved plans are successfully implemented.

Basel II Management and Reporting â€" Senior Analyst (Contractor), Monthly reporting, Compliance & MIS for the Investment BankDEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
Basel II Measurement and Reporting (BMR) is responsible for computing the firm’s Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) and Eligible capital calculation. BMR New York is responsible for the delivery of the Pillar I and III Compliance reports based on RWA numbers to the Consolidation team in Zurich.KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
Our Basel II Measurement and Reporting Group is looking for a Senior Analyst to support Basel II/II.5 reporting and compliance for the Investment Bank.ROLE SUMMARY:
This person’s core responsibilities will be supporting the following: IB Risk Weighted Asset Reporting, Compliance and MIS
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of the Pillar I and III Compliance reports to the Consolidation team in Zurich for IB. The role will also involve performing ad hoc additional analysis on these numbers when required.    - Working with various Legal Entity controllers on specific capital related numbers which need to be reflected in the legal ledger - Performing ad hoc analysis on potential RWA methodology changes
- Preparing of a number of capital specific templates which form part of the monthly submission
- Being involved in frequent (usually daily) interface with Traders, Risk Managers and COOs on impact of new trades and/or hedges. Managing queries independently. Reconciliation
- Supporting the Basel II Gross exposure to Balance sheet Ledger reconciliation effort. This is a key control in ensuring that our overall Basel II capital numbers are complete and accurate. - Performing a variety of analysis’s on RWA numbers to explain movements
Other Regulatory Reporting
- Preparing various ad hoc analysis reports for various regulatory bodies / institutions based on our Basel II numbers e.g. S&P, FINMA, RMM New Business
Supporting the New Business lead in assessing the Basel II capital impact of new structures within the Investment bank. This will involve working closely with various groups involved in the new business process e.g. Front Office, Product Control, Accounting Policy Group, Regulatory Policy Group, Legal Entity Controllers etc.  QUALIFICATIONS
- BA in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA (desired)
- 5 - 10 years Finance Industry experience (Big 4 accounting experience a plus)
- Basel II rules experience
- Strong financial products background
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical skills

The IT Reporting Analyst on the Apps Development Reporting team will be required to analyze business and technical requirements, leverage technical knowledge of Oracle database environments, and develop reporting solutions. Position Requirements

University degree or college diploma in the field of computer science or technology.

Database and operating systems experience with SQL
Competent and proficient understanding of platforms, such as .NET
Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including .NET.asp
Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
