Position Summary:

The Systems Support Engineer will be part of the IT System Support Team
which is responsible for the provisioning, maintenance and support of
Windows based server infrastructure consisting of over 1000 servers located
in multiple sites in a global 24/7 environment. This is a full-time position
primarily located in Boston but includes weekly onsite support in Bedford,
MA and/or Marlboro, MA and occasional onsite support in Stamford, CT data
centers. The Systems Support Engineer will also participate in on call
rotation for one week periods every 4-6 weeks. Tasks are approximately 50%
support based and 50% project based.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Monitor system and network monitoring systems and perform triage
and troubleshooting of incidents. Complete requests to add/remove/suppress
monitors for systems.

· Prioritize and respond to problems and incidents using Altiris
ticket system. Manage the IT System Admins' service ticket queue on a daily
basis.

· Provision Windows physical and virtual servers and patching of
Windows based system using enterprise server automation system. Includes
packaging and deployment of applications, enhancements and hot fixes to
servers.

· Active Directory administration including group policy, group
membership, file system security changes.

· VMware vCenter administration and support

· Work across multiple IT teams including Application Support,
Developers DBA, Network and Storage to resolve incidents and complete
requests.

· Provide hardware break/fix, rack/stack support (HP c7000 blade
chassis and rack servers) and media management at our datacenters.

· Management of CommVault backup system including DataDomain storage
and Spectralogic Tape Library.

· Ownership of planning, management and implementation of minor IT
Infrastructure projects. Participation in implementation of major IT
Infrastructure projects.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· 5+ years of work experience in 500+ server environment utilizing
enterprise system management tools.

· Strong Windows server troubleshooting experience and knowledge of
Windows server based systems including Active Directory, TCP/IP.

· Competence with Windows scripting including vbscript and
Powershell a plus.

· Demonstrated ability of documenting IT processes and providing
knowledge transfer to team members.

· Knowledge of financial business practices and procedures a plus

· Ability and willingness to perform occasional work on weekends and
after-hours

· HP c7000 blade chassis, HP rack servers. HP system tools including
HP SIM and ILO is preferred.

· Experience with automated server provisioning, patching and
application deployments.

· Strong knowledge of Windows server based systems including Active
Directory, TCP/IP.

· Experience with network and system monitoring tools such as HP
SiteScope and Solarwinds

· Knowledge and administration of VMware ESX server, Exchange
2007/2010 Server. Knowledge of Citrix XenApp, SQL Server and SharePoint a
plus

Position Summary:

This position reports to the UNIX Team Lead. The candidate will step into a
leadership position on the team and will be required to quickly come up to
speed while driving delivery and stability. The Lead Systems Engineer will
be responsible for overseeing the UNIX server hardware and software

including Calypso (vendor application) and in house built tools

· Participate in full-cycle software development including
regression testing, deployment, and support of new tools

Required Skills and Competencies:

· A minimum of five years of experience in the investment industry,
ideally with an asset manager, a hedge fund, or an investment bank
