Subject: Donna Coulson Speaking to Transitioners @ Middletown Library, New Monmouth Rd, Middletown - Fri 4/26 @ 10 am

Hi Folks: I'm heading from NC to the Jersey Shore for a Workshop and a Wedding next week. I am enjoying my new life in Wilmington, NC. Of course I'm networking--with UNC-W, community colleges, Chambers and new neighbors who advise who's best for tires, food, fitness centers, etc.

FYI. I will be speaking to Job/Career Transitioners at the Middletown Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Road (off Route 35 North), Middletown, NJ 07748 next Friday, April 26th from 10 to 11 am.  You are welcome to invite your Transitioners.  I've attached the handout.  I change these frequently based on what I hear in the street, the WSJ and the Washington Post.

Alyssa Rosen is my sponsor and contact at the Middletown Library:  arosen@mplmain.mtpl.org . Call or write her if you have any questions.  She works with transitioners and I remind you that the library has job search services available online. This is a well-sourced library in my old home town!

My new contact information is coulsondonna@gmail.com or donna@liveyourlifecoach.com . My office is 910 399 6321 and my cell is my old office #:  732 758 8191.

Other NJ Dates: I will also be in NJ for 2 days May 31/June 1 running a networking event at the Douglass College reunion weekend.  Then I'll return for two weeks the end of October for workshops at Rutgers CMD and for our 10th Annual Prupac Closing Anniversary—talk about ongoing networking with former co-workers.  More people land work INFORMALLY this way than via cold-call resumes.

Y'all Come Visit Now. If you are in the Myrtle Beach, or Wilmington NC/coastal area, let me know and come visit or I'll meet you locally. We are renting a house and will soon be selecting a builder.

RamseyJSWT Members:

Listedbelow are next week's upcoming networking events. All meetings are open to thepublic, plus you are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend. Try attendingat least one or two meetings a week, what you learn there will definitely helpshorten your time in transition. Also, many of these groups convene in theevening, so it will not take time away from your daily job search activities.

Thinkof these meetings as opportunities, sort of like going to school, to learnsomething that can reduce your time in transition by gaining knowledge of jobsearch and interviewing skills needed to excel and standout from yourcompetition.

Intraveling to these meetings, consider car pooling. Not only will it reduce thecost of driving there, but the friendly conversation will make the ride seem togo much faster.

Ifanyone is aware of an upcoming meeting that you would like to share with thegroup, please let me know and I will gladly include it with my weekly updates.

Thankyou,
