My direct client, in the Airport Services Industry , has an immediate need for a Project Manager.

Duration: Permanent
Location: Purchase, Westchester New York
Rate: 100-120K

Job Purpose:
Provide project management and end user and technical documentation support for IT infrastructure projects.
Responsible for coordinating all activities related to a project and be the focal point for all communications, status, and schedules for multiple concurrent IT projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops, executes, coordinates and monitors overall project plans (in MS Project), tasks, and milestones.
Implements management processes to identify, report, and monitor project issues and risks. Track project resources
and financials. Manage and coordinate work with different teams. Provides project status updates to IT
Management Performs requirements gathering and technical analysis as necessary. Interfaces with internal
customers and external vendors. Build templates for technology standards and end user documentation.
Document technology standards and processes. Develop and maintain end user documentation (quick reference
guides, etc.) as needed. Work closely with lnfrastructure Architecture and Operations teams

Preferred Qualifications:
Must have experience managing infrastructure deployment projects.
Prior experience documenting technology standards and experience working with IT Infrastructure Architecture and IT Operations areas is needed.
Requires advanced MS Office 2010, MS Visio and Project Professional 2010 skills, and experience with MS Project
Server (PWA 2010); SharePoint systems experience a strong plus.
5-7 Years Project Management experience in an IT Environment.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong IT background with aptitude in business and managing change.
Must be a self-starter, with the ability to multi-task and deal with many projects concurrently.
PMP certification a plus.to outside engineering entities, project budget management, staffing development and vendor management.
This position requires that the individual provide occasional end user training as needed, as well as develop end user and technical documentation, in addition should their role as a full lifecycle project manager.

* Document and analyze existing risk management processes, systems and data flows to understand how different processes contribute to the macro O&T Risk Management process
* Facilitate design workshops with business teams, identify improvement opportunities, model and analyze business impact of future state design and align with end-state strategy
* Collect, review and document business needs and requirements, user documentation, process flows; coordinate design reviews; and serve as a liaison between technology and business units
* Document and contribute to design and configuration systems including standard/customized reporting to meet management requirements
* Coordinate testing of proposed improvements with necessary stakeholders and ensure participant feedback is appropriately incorporated
* Participate and/or facilitate end user acceptance testing and training
* Partner with key stakeholders in other areas through developed communication and negotiation skills
* Contribute to the definition and implementation of the overall business strategy and goals
* Build relationships with business leads and cross-functional team members

This is truly a technical role and the candidate needs to know how to develop. They must be strong in Sharepoint, VB, Excel, SQL, Cognos is a strong plus. Experience with MetricStream is big plus as well. The role requires strong experience with Data Manipulation and working with large data. This role is development focused.



* Minimum: BS/BA degree. Preferred: Masters in Engineering or Business
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with SDLC process, developing Business and Technical Requirements
* Candidate should have experience working with Sharepoint, and know how to create Sharepoint sites.
* Advanced Skills in Microsoft Office Suite of Products including PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Excel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; very strong influencing, facilitation, and collaborations skills
* Demonstrated ability to deliver pro-actively, communicate clearly and timely, and work collaboratively
* Experience in interfacing with and presenting results to Senior Management
* Excellent follow-up skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task, strong team-orientation and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and good analytical skills
* Proven ability to work independently, multi task and effectively work in a complex environment with multi-location team structure
* Experience in Supplier Risk Management, Procurement, Operational Risk, Technology Risk and/or Operations Risk related projects is preferable
* Knowledge of standard Risk Management&#92;Control frameworks including COSO, COBIT, ITIL and regulatory guidelines including OCC and FFIEC are a plus
* Previous experience working with Business Intelligence (COGNOS) and or GRC platforms (Metricstream) a plus

Listedbelow are next week's upcoming networking events. All meetings are open to thepublic, plus you are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend. Try attendingat least one or two meetings a week, what you learn there will definitely helpshorten your time in transition. Also, many of these groups convene in theevening, so it will not take time away from your daily job search activities.

Thinkof these meetings as opportunities, sort of like going to school, to learnsomething that can reduce your time in transition by gaining knowledge of jobsearch and interviewing skills needed to excel and standout from yourcompetition.
