Position Title: Project Manager / Business Consultant

Reports To: Section Manager â€" Business Relationship Management

I. PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Project Leader is responsible for communicating, planning, organizing, control, reporting, and delivery of IT projects within their relevant business area as assigned by the Design Manager. The Project Leader is responsible for delivery and deployment of solutions, ensuring that they are on time, within budget and to the required ITPM standard. The Project Leader is also responsible for collaboratively working with the business team(s) to gather requirements, create specifications and develop new solutions or enhance existing applications within the ITPM guidelines and disciplines

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Define and document Project Brief

• Facilitate high level risk identification with team

• Facilitate work and data flow definition and documentation

• Define project team roles and responsibilities and work with resource managers to staff project assignments appropriately in support of allocation practices

• Define and document the scope of the project

• Define and document deliverables based Work Breakdown Structure

• Define and document the workplan (schedule) for the project

• Document the Project Management Plan (communication, risk/issue management, etc)

• Define and document the budget plan for the project

• Consistent project status reporting and distributed via email

• Manage all phases of IT projects including initiation, planning, cost management (when applicable), resource management, communications, and quality management

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Preferred Educational Background:

Project Management methodologies (PMI, Six Sigma, etc.); Communication; Leadership

Experience Requirements

5-7 years of project management experience (Information Technology)

3-5 years of systems analysis and design

3-5 years of staff supervisory experience

3-5 years of budget, planning, and cost tracking experience

Automotive experience a plus

IV. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (continued)

Special Skills:

5-7 years of MS Project experience or application equivalent (i.e. Primavera)

3-5 years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint)

Other:

• Proven track record of excellent project management skills demonstrated for challenging client, complex interrelated or technically oriented projects

• Excellent consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers

Our Client, an industry leader in Roseland NJ is seeking a Data Analyst Lead

The Data Analyst Lead will be responsible for managing 5 resources (4 offshore resources and 1 onshore resource) within the GI IT IMBI Centralized Triage Area for adhoc reporting requests.

The Data Analyst Lead will actively participate in the day to day activities to ensure that all reporting requests are reviewed, analyzed and resolved This position requires a blend of solid management, data and analytical skills and experience.

The tasks will include but are not limited to the responsibilities listed below
Responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing data on the various platforms to identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct data.

Utilize SQL to analyze data across multiple channels for comparative analysis

In depth analysis of existing data including interpretation of query results to determine if quality issues exist, including documentation of finds and recommendations for remediating data issues, in a manner that is consumable by IT partner and key business owners.

Hands on management of Data Analyst Team (onshore and offshore resources) Perform complex analysis in an evolving data environment

Triage of all reporting requests to include determining priority and classification of request

Ensure team follows defined processes as well as best practices in constructing SQL- based queries Identification of data specific issues and determination of issues vs enhancements

Problem solve and resolution of data specific issues

Produce adhoc reports in response to reporting requests Performance manage team

Qualifications:
Advanced experience with SQL and query tools
Experience with developing custom SQL queries as well as retro-fitting existing queries to meet current needs proficient in technical data analysis, detail oriented and diligent
Prior experience in management of onshore and offshore teams
Proven record to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
