If you missed the October meeting of the AITP Garden State Chapter, you missed a very interesting and fascinating presentation on 3D printing, how it works, what it can do, what the future holds, and what it is being used for today. Our Speaker was James Zunino a Materials Engineer within the Materials, Manufacturing and Prototype Technology Division of ARDEC at the Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

Don't miss the November 12, 2013 (5:30pm) meeting on Threats to Data Security.  RSVP to Doug Hobby (doug_hobby@hotmail.com) to reserve a seat and get more information about AITP.

Not sure if you can get to the article via the link so I saved it as a PDF as well.

Great follow up to last weeks presentation.

We are a multi-office Managed Services Provider (MSP) with offices in New York and New Jersey. We serve the systems administration needs of companies in the area, with satellite offices spread throughout the United States. Our technicians enjoy a warm, friendly (and fattening) environment where you can enjoy the challenges and excitement of the latest cutting-edge technology. Our generous benefits package includes paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick days and more.
We are seeking top-notch, driven individuals to join our centralized IT department in Lakewood, NJ. We currently have openings for a Level III Technician. Your primary duties would be to
handle the more advanced requests and needs of our clients on servers and networking equipment, and to diagnose the more complex issues that arise.
Our clients have varied environments (with a focus on Microsoft technologies), so you will be dealing with Windows servers, Active Directory, Exchange, Remote Desktop Services, and more. You will also be involved with new projects as they come along and have many opportunities to expand your skillset. We want you to grow into a better systems administrator while you work!

An ideal candidate should have experience in the technologies we currently have deployed:
Windows Server operating systems (2003 â€" 2012)
Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Remote Desktop Services, VMWare, SonicWALL
Advanced network competence in routing and switching
Job Requirements:
5+ years' experience in related activity
College or IT trade school degree
The ideal candidate must have strong organizational and communications skills, along with good customer relationship skills. A large percentage of your work will be over the phone and/or using remote control tools. A professional appearance (business casual), attention to detail and meticulous documentation and follow-up skills are also required.
You will be working in our NJ location. As in most all IT support positions some after hours or weekend work is sometimes required, but we do provide flexible hours. Salary will be commensurate with experience. If you are looking for a dynamic, fast-paced yet friendly environment, where you can grow your skillset and interact with a vast amount of varied and state-of-the-art technology,
this is the place for you

*Building High-Impact Relationships for Optimal Solutions*

Relationships are the foundation on which successful solutions are built.
Whether it is gathering requirements for a specific project, defining an
enterprise-wide strategy or developing a win-win scenario with partners,
how and with whom we have relationships shapes our success.

Global publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc. is on a transformative journey
from a print, product-centric organization to a digital, customer-centric
business. This presentation will describe how Wiley's technology/business
collaboration has evolved and how recent experiences with strategic
customers and partners have helped the company reinvent itself for the
digital age. It is a paradigm for driving innovation and implementing new
business models.

Key Take-Aways:

- Insight on achieving technology/business collaboration across the
enterprise in a digital age.
- Lessons learned in what has worked (and not worked) to develop and
sustain strategic partnerships with customers and suppliers
- Best practices for successful enterprise relationships, and critical
factors in avoiding pitfalls, to improve your own outcomes
