For NYC based Associates, the typical travel schedule is 50% over a
given year, though at times it will be more like 80%. Travel is
non-negotiable - these permanent positions require travel.

Credit Risk Technology (focusing on Reveleus, Algorithmics, etc - but
MUST have Basel II experience) -

Liquidity Risk Technology (including Bancware and - PREFERABLY QRM) -

development team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who has significant Java GUI
experience, Swing, multithreading, and message based distributed systems
experience. This is a New York based position, requiring someone with
7-10 years of exceptional experience and academic qualifications.

The successful candidate will work closely with a small team of java
developers, primarily focusing on the development, maintenance, and
support of its electronic trading and prime brokerage related services.

The qualified individual will be responsible for managing software changes and releases and be responsible for implementation, provide application support functions and configuration management.

Responsibilities to include:

§ Change management

¾ Schedule and track application changes and releases

¾ Risk assessment prior to implementation

¾ Document specific procedures for implementation, error checking and fallback

¾ Manage software and configuration changes on Test and Production environments

§ Implementation and configuration management

¾ Deploy application software and configurations across all Test and Production trading environments

¾ Execute daily production changes to support business and technical requests

¾ Perform change certification before they are rolled out

¾ Design implementation strategy

§ Operational Acceptance Testing

¾ Create and execute test plans/scripts/ cases based on technical and operational requirements for trading applications and market operations support tools

¾ Support acceptance, performance, capacity, regression and system failover testing on back-end components using manual and automated test procedures

¾ Support scheduled weekend testing of Production level systems and applications

¾ Test application software against operating system and layered product upgrades/patches

§ Application support

¾ Provide application and system support for several internal departments including Computer Operations, QA, Product Management and Technical Member Services

¾ Provide application and environment administration of a complex trading systems

¾ Submit and track issues using Remedy to track and manage defects discovered during testing and application support

¾ Troubleshoot and diagnose systems problems; install and configure fixes for applications running on Windows, Linux and OpenVMS platforms

¾ Provide Level II support to IT Operations

§ Customer service and support

¾ Troubleshoot trading issues by working with customers, vendors, and internal units including the QA, operations and market control teams

¾ Assist in performing root cause analysis of production problems and develop methods for improvement

¾ Manage open trading systems issues with customers and vendors

Please share this with your wife, sister, co-workers, aunt, niece, girl
friend. One of our clients is looking for women in technology ie:
Developers, PM's and BA's. Profile: Strong technology skills (Java, C#,
C++, etc.), solid development background, good communication skills, and
at least 1-2 years of solid work experience. Some jobs require being
open to learning a proprietary software language

Most of the openings are for developers, but they will also look at
Business Analysts and Project Managers- junior to mid-level positions
