SUMMARY:

A strategically-minded, growth-oriented, sales and marketing leader with
deeply
established customer relationships with the mass merchants and wholesale
clubs. The
selected candidate will be a top performer with Walmart experience and a
successful
track record of consistently exceeding sales growth objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Direct sales activities, establish goals and forecasts, and create the
necessary processes, measurement tools, and structure in order to deliver
predictable, increasing sales results.
. Deliver sales results both personally, as well as via the sales team.
. Participate in the development of the plans in support of the company's
overall strategic vision.
. Develop targets for new accounts, as well as increased profitability.
. Manage pricing and sales proposal processes to ensure maximum
profitability.
. Collaborate with customers to identify improvement opportunities and
maintain consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and company
loyalty.
. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate
objectives for products and services.
. Develop and manage sales/marketing operating budgets.
. Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing
strategy to produce the highest possible market share, while controlling sku
levels.

. Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share.
. Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to
meet changing market and competitive conditions.
. Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
. Assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships and
negotiating and closing deals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Walmart Experience Required

Strong Customer Relationships from the top down within the mass merchant
class of
trade as well as wholesale clubs.
The selected candidate will be a top performer with a successful track
record of
consistently exceeding sales growth objectives.
They will possess a proven track record of building and leading highly
effective
sales teams; as well as an extensive marketing and product merchandising
background.

We are seeking an aggressive, customer-focused leader who can generate
double digit
sales growth in a highly competitive landscape.
Budgetary experience is a must, with focus on both top line as well as
bottom line
profitability.
Although an apparel background is preferred, sales management experience
with mass
and mid-tier retailers is essential; with emphasis on strong customer
relations.
An undergraduate degree is required, MBA strongly preferred.
A minimum of 10 years experience in a related sales and marketing
environment is
required, of which 3 years must be in the lead role.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, and a willingness to travel
extensively.
Computer proficiency in Word and excel and a working knowledge of other
sales/marketing related tools such as PowerPoint.
Proven ability to operate at both the strategic and tactical levels.
